Why are there 3 of these in the same area? Anyways, this location is the best to find parking in crowded downtown. There are meters on its lateral side on flower and 5th. Expensive though!! $4 for an hr? Ouch!
Order by phone for pick up to avoid the crazy lunch lines. Gotta try the pork belly banh mi of course. Save room to sample the "salads" aka side dishes. You can add one to your sandwich for $2.95 or buy it individually for $3.95.
I've tried the steak BLT and it was alright. I requested for a pretzel bun during a nonbusy time and I got the normal bun. Even though there was no line it still took them 20 minutes to make my sandwich. When I'm paying $1 for 15 min of parking, time is freaking money!!! I didn't ask to replace the pretzel bun for the fear of waiting another 20 minutes.
My boo got the not so fried chicken. Pretty good. Liked the egg salad in it & the BBQ sauce on the side. The bread became rock hard the next day though :(
Sad to say that I liked the sides more than the sandwiches. I got the curry couscous- very earthy with a hint of spice. Pasta was fluffy. Loved the addition of cauliflower to give it that crunch. Spinach balsamic onion- I love balsamic anything haha.
This entire meal cost $35?!?! Not worth it. With the lack of available parking, hefty amount for a sandwich that doesn't fill me up, and the inability to even fulfill an order during a lax time, I give this particular establishment 2 stars.
Ooh I got the pork banh mi last time and it was good. I can see how people are in love with it BC theres not any other banh mi remix in the westside. But my heart still belongs to numpang in NY - best banh mi...
Read moreShout out to the amazing staff. I used to work in the food Industry and lets just say i left for a reason. Today the amazing cashiers made my day and reminded me that food industry people are the true MVP's of the working class. I ordered my food online so i can run in and run out. When i went to pick up my lunch I noticed the whole staff was super busy (Monday in DTLA near Law Firms of course they are.) When i got to the pick-up area my food wasn't there. I waited 7 minutes and still no order. I asked the cashier, and they assured me it was on its way and they were slammed , which they were. another 6 minutes goes by and i'm noticing order are coming out and not mine. I ask again since I like to eat my lunch before the Partners get back and i have no time to eat. After much searching for my order the cashier noticed my order had been bumped in the chaos and was not made. The wonderful staff rushed my order and gave me a water and two lunches on them. Thank you so much. I hate being a Karen and another 20 minutes would have made me full Karen. I've worked in food before, but great customer service like this made my day for sure and would have made any...

Friendly staff welcomed us as we came in. Came here to redeem a free cookie reward won at the library and ended up purchasing a pizza melt kids meal. The pizza came with slices of apples and a drink. Drink options are lemonade and other non-soda options. The pizza melt was disappointing. It seems like it's two slices of toast with spaghetti sauce and cheese sprinkled on. It reminded me of what kids would make at home. The taste is exactly what you would expect toasted bread with spaghetti sauce to taste like.
A rather small dining area with options to sit outside. During our visit the inside was quite loud with the alternative ambient music. I suggest to management to lower the music a tad.
The is restroom access but must request from staff member to let you in.
Overall, I suggest sticking to the salads and sandwiches offered. From prior experience those options are much better than the...
