Ah the faint smell of urinal cakes and chili waft throughout the 24 hour Walmart feeling of a fast food place.
Tip: Drive thru does not have a full pass through lane to go around, so go all the way to the end so you don't get pinched behind other cars actually ordering. Parking spots are nice and long for any classics rolling through, but the lot design has that 1 fatal flaw, literally one of the worse designs I've ever seen.
A place known for having chili on their burgers and dogs should at least have some decent chili. Wrong. Weinerschnitzel has better chili. Burger patties are small and dry. Large pickles and tomato taste good, way too much lettuce and the onions aren't fresh. Mustard is their default condiment which can be unusual, but the fries are thicker, unsalted, but they do not skimp on drinks or fries. I think they steam the meat then flash fry on a flat top, buns get super soggy from just the moisture from the condiments.
Service is pretty good, service is fast. Dining area is mostly clean aside from the people almost living here after buying 1 thing to stay. The utensils, salt, pepper and ketchup are easily dispensed and prices are reasonable for the area.
It's right off the freeway so any out of towners may just see a somewhat familiar name and go here, but I'd say explore as I only ate here due to it's convenience. I really wanted Sanam Luang in the...
Read moreI walked and placed my order, on Friday night around 9:45pm. The person took my order hardly spoke English. I asked him kindly if he could repeat my order because I was strongly feeling that he took my order wrong. He started raising his voice on me the moment I asked him if he could repeat my order. In the past it happened so many times, now I learn my lesson. After that I asked him if I can use the restroom, and he said someone is in it, I waited 10 minutes and knocked on the door, no one answered, than I noticed no one is in there. I kindly asked this his panic lady named Kristina. She gave me BAD BAD BAD ATTITUDE! Than she said someone is in there. I told her no one is in there, even the security guard said it that no one is in there, she started screaming on the security guard! People were dining, got scared when she started shouting on him. He asked for the Keyes and she threw the Keyes on him! Sooooo rude!!! Long story short she was hiding the Keyes, and the moment I found out, and told her give me my money back I’m leaving, she tells me I’m new here ok! Even the manager saw it but didn’t say anything to her because he didn’t want to get into a fight with her. I strongly want to talk to someone about this matter. I love to talk to the district manager about it. I’m not going there anymore! They need to higher a...
Read moreWhen I was in college out east, my roommate told of the Tommy burger. When I lived in LA for a brief 2 1/2 years, I never tried it. I was somewhat confused, because there appeared to be knock-off versions of Tommy Burger's. So, in my nearly 28 years of living in California, I finally decided to try Tommy's World Famous Burgers because I was visiting LA with my son and I was hungry after a trip to Griffith Observatory. We pulled through the drive-through, which was surprisingly empty, as well as the parking lot. I decided on the simple cheeseburger (no onions, or chili) and also the cheese fries. When I got my burger, I knew immediately that the ground beef was not fresh, but was frozen. Also, it was evident that the "cheese" on the cheese fries was American processed cheese. It was a really a quite sad experience. All of this 27ish years of anticipation building up in me, only to find lots of disappointment. In the end, it was food, but not...
