California Donuts — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I lived just down the street from here for 4 1/2 years and my brother and I would walk down just about every morning and get their amazing cream sticks. They are like nothing I’ve ever had before or since. The cream is so light and fluffy and not overly sweet. Even after I moved to the valley I would stop by any time i had an excuse to go anywhere near hollywood. I moved out of California about 5 yrs ago and have been craving them ever since. (I think they make these round now instead of sticks, but still just as delicious!). I recently visited the most incredible doughnut shop in Hollywood, and I have to say, they have the best doughnuts I've ever tasted! Every bite was a delightful explosion of flavor and freshness. The variety they offer is amazing, and each doughnut is a masterpiece.

But what really made my experience exceptional was the lady who works there. She provides the best customer service I've ever encountered. She is incredibly welcoming and friendly, making everyone feel right at home. Her warm and cheerful attitude truly enhances the entire experience. She Keeps us coming back and always remembers our order!

We really wanted to give this place 5 stars. We were intrigued by all the cool doughnuts! But we actually stopped in for their lunch menu. We thought we'd save a few dollars there. Im not so sure we did. We ordered two sandwiches $6.50 each, no sides. We took a bacon maple bar and a drink. It came out to $19.25. Not extremely expensive, but hear me out... The shop was suffocatingly hot. We couldn't sit and enjoy our food there. The drinks in the fridge were also hot. We asked for a cup of ice and she charged us for another drink. Lastly, she didn't provide a receipt. So we give this place...
