Not gone lie me and my brother where looking for a bathroom and the 7/11 across didn't have a bathroom so we went to this place just to buy the lowest item like a tea just so we can use the bathroom. My bro got the tea but I decided to get the fried pork belly since the lady at the counter recommended after I asked what was the most popular item here. I used the bathroom quick and let me tell you the bathroom was super clean compared to other establishments I visited. So I got done with my business and got the food to go, I hoped in the car and decided to give it a little nibble since I was driving all the way to San Diego. And not gone lie the first bite got me hooked idk how to explain it but I honestly love that dish with that little side of sour cup they give you. The veggies where crunchy. Not gone lie I literally stayed there in the parking lot with the car on devouring that plate. Made me want to go to Thailand and get me a wife out there lol. But great service, great food, the bathrooms are clean and I will recommend this to anyone specially that fried pork belly. Oh and that dish is so good it literally made me do my first food/restaurant review. Can't wait to go back...

Not good for food allergies. Liked it the first couple times and became my bf's favorite for coconut soup. I have an egg allergy and we just found egg in my food. The dish does not normally contain egg but we specified no egg when ordering and asked them to make sure (I don't think my bf specifically stated it was an allergy, but we stressed its importance). There was egg left over from a previous dish in the pan and ended up in ours.

One woman was very helpful but the other tried to deny that there was egg in the dish, even though it was visible and she couldn't come up with a theory as to what else it might be. Apparently it was the cooks fault but it sounds like he might not have had the information needed regarding our request. They gave a refund for the dish.

Regardless, I will not be taking the risk again.

Food is tasty, though my bf liked it more than I did from the beginning. Wold have gone back and prob given 3 stars if not for this incident. He'd prob give 4, so try for yourself if you're interested and don't...

Living near Thai town, I have made it a personal mission to find the best affordable Thai near my house. Mission complete.

Our waitress spoke great English and very nicely helped us to choose the best menu items. We went with 1. the crab roll (which comes out sliced into discs) which was fried (but not breaded), full of meat, and ridiculously delicious. 2. Wide rice noodles with garlic-chili ground beef: Wow, just so, so perfect. We went with mild and it had just enough heat and loads of garlic-chili flavor. 3. Fried catfish: I don't think it was breaded, and if so it was very light. I think they take a whole fish, slice from top to bottom, then fry the slices, giving you juicy dippable pieces with a rich spicy-chuney-ish sauce that I could eat all on its own. It was a very good sauce with the crab rolls, too.

These three dishes were more than enough for my boyfriend and me, and we can't wait to go back and try...

Second-Best Thai Restaurant in LA! I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. Their crispy pork with basil leaves was absolutely outstanding—easily the best I've found in the U.S.! The pork was perfectly crispy and flavorful, making it a must-try dish. I also try their stir-fried water spinach and tom yum soup. The stir-fried water spinach had a delightful smoky flavor and was cooked to perfection, with the ideal texture and temperature. As for the tom yum, it was decent, but nothing extraordinary compared to the other dishes. The service was exceptional. The staff were warm, attentive, and professional. Unfortunately, I forgot to get the name of the server who took care of us, but she did an excellent job and made the experience even better. A quick note: This restaurant only accepts cash payments, so plan accordingly!

Authentic Thai food in Thai town🤤🤤 so happy I was introduced to this hidden gem by a friend In Thai, ā€˜Yai’ means grandma & the name is so fitting as the food was so comforting and legit. @eatswithedith šŸ½ļøOrdered: 1. BBQ pork 2. Tom kha gai (hot & sour chicken soup w/ coconut milk) 3. Pad see ew w/ shrimp Every dish was exploding with flavor & I loved how they all complemented each other. The bbq pork was my favorite which is surprising bc I don’t love pork! The sauce that it was paired with was just so delicious šŸ‘ŒšŸ» The Tom kha gai was super creamy and just tangy enough. It’s the perfect dish to have on a cold day ā˜ŗļø šŸ’”Tips: -bring cash!! This spot is cash ONLY -there is a small parking lot so if you go on a weekday it’s pretty easy to find parking šŸ’°Price: $56/meal

Authentic Thai food in a casual setting. Between my date and I, ordered: -Green Curry with chicken -Pad see ew with beef + fried egg The curry was rich and flavorful, with Thai eggplant and bamboo shoots that were well received. The chicken was cooked well. Pad see ew was delicious and good portion. Only strange thing is that fried egg is sold separately ($3), even though that’s a necessary component of the dish. Either way, came out to $32, $38 after tip, and they are cash only. I’d definitely come back!
