I've been transitioning from vegetarian to vegan for about a year and a half (or two really) and recently I "fell off the vegan wagon" (again) but it's all good. This combined with a friend gifting me a $25 Starbucks gift card for Christmas made me think, since I already "fell", I may as well indulge myself (hehe 😁).
It was hard to decide on what to get and even harder to spend $25 just on myself (still have $2.25 left on the gift card) but Batista Bridget was awesome!!! So patient and sweet as I made up my mind on what I wanted. I ordered:
Mushroom & kale egg bites Caramel Brulée latte Reindeer & Birthday Cake cake pops Everything bagel Avocado spread & Salted potato chips
Overall, good meal and at the end of the day, still (very non-meat eating) vegetarian (egg bites, latte & the cake pops) and vegan-slanting (bagel, Avocado spread & potato chips) and very satisfying to my "sweet and salty" toothes (yes I said toothes because they stand on their own individually not as a group of teeth lol) without making me fell stuffed. In addition, I made my own Avocado toast with the bagel and spread, making me fell spoiled, loved and cared for! Thanks my friend! The only change I would make would be to add salt and pepper to the egg bites (but the eggs were nice & warm and smelled great) and a bit more sugar to the latte but these were minor because the food tasted good without them and I could have gotten up and asked for these but I was too busy enjoying the moment so I deducted no stars from my review because this was something I could have controlled but was ok without at the same time. Read moreUp until about a month ago this location had excellent customer service under manager Patti. There has obviously been a management shift, as I don't recognize most of baristas who served me with a smile and without snotty attitude.
In November, a customer walked off with my drink made in one of the limited edition cups I purchased (5 cups different colors). On the day of service as a courtesy, the barista remade my drink and gave me a replacement personal cup - a white one sold year round as they did not have the color stolen by another customer.
On my next visit, I spoke with Manager about it, who apologized and indicated that she would attempt to get a replacement. I continued to check in with her for about a month, my last contact with her she assured me she would continue to look. She has apparently been transferred to another store, along with barista who knew what occurred.
Since the beginning of year, I have encountered issues with a few baristas about refills. I don't keep my receipts, and I remove stickers placed on my personal cup because they are hard to remove the glue from cup if don't. Twice I've had to pay full price when it should have been refill.
As a result, I am now visiting other stores in area. It saddens me because for almost a year I didn't even have to tell them what drink I wanted, they were friendly fast and had excellent service. This location was very convenient to my office and subway.
Maybe if I give it time the level of service will improve. Until then there are a number of other stores in the area that are convenient and provide same great service. And don't charge me full price for my drink when I'm...

As I was waiting outside searching the app for a phone number a barista hung a note on the door saying they wouldn't be open till 6:20am. The app said they opened at 5am and my order was estimated to be ready by 5:45. I called the store for a refund cause I paid through the app. The barista I talked to said the store was closed cause they were late and they could only give me a refund in store when it opened. She said I'd have to call the 800 number. When I asked her for it she didn't know it. So after hanging up I took her advice and googled the number. I talked to a rep who said I could only get a refund via Starbucks Gift Card because the order was placed the same day I created my account.
