Something feels so right about grabbing a bowl of fresh raw fish and vegetables and bringing it to the ocean. Then you realize that the gulls love that idea too and you regret the whole thing.

I placed an order through Sweetfin's website when I was about 10 blocks away. It was very easy and clear to navigate.

Service I mean this in the least negative way possible, but it was average. My food was maybe a few minutes late because I think the workers were confused about another order, but who cares? No one's perfect, and if people watched me while I worked they'd find a lot of problems with it. "Why did he put THAT in the spreadsheet?" "How did he spend so much time ranting about someone else's typo?" "Why is he cutting his nails off-camera during that Zoom call?"

Food So fresh. I built my own bowl. Like with my own hands, a hammer, and nails. Because that's how they're... made. Anyway! I got a large with salmon and albacore tuna, seaweed salad, edamame, forbidden rice (please don't tell anyone), kale, mango, cucumber, mushrooms, bean sprouts with black garlic sauce and creamy togarashi. Tasted great! Really fresh and made me feel not-like-trash after I ate it. I value that. Portion size was a little small, the toppings were added sparingly - both in amount but also in that you can only pick X amount whereas other places let you choose an unlimited amount. Also not sure if the mango was as ripe as it could have been.

Price I've spent less elsewhere, truthfully. It's not outrageous here, and they do have a good loyalty/discount program if you sign up online, but for the large portion, it's maybe a dollar or two more than I'd see elsewhere. Still, where it lacks in quantity, it makes up for in quality.

Recommend? Yeah, it's fresh and there aren't too many other poke shops in the immediate area within walking distance. If you're driving though, you might find something with larger portions or a...

I came here for the first time Tuesday and when I got to my destination I realized they messed up my order and left out some ingredients. Nothing I could do about it at the time because I couldn’t go back. I went the next day for lunch and they messed up my order. I went back and had to tell them because it was unacceptable this time, and I also mentioned they had messed up my order the day before as well. The guy working asked for my receipt to remake my bowl and messed it up AGAIN. I didn’t have time to wait for them to fix their mistake over and over and just dealt with what I was given. They’ll also lie and tell you a small bowl comes with two proteins but it’ll just be a smaller portion of each. Then if you get two, they’ll charge you an extra 90 cents without mentioning it.

Check your receipt and order if you decide to...

Ordered Sweet Fin dishes through Uber Eats. Waited over 2 hours and food never came. My hungry toddler ate pbj for dinner past her bedtime because someone who wasn’t our Uber driver picked up our food order. Their customer system is automated and not set up to really help you if you don’t get your food on time or at all. Leaving a bad review for the lack of direct personal assistance for a service industry and organized control over their product via delivery services.

What was supposed to be a fun, nice relaxing night turned out horrible from hangry arguing and texting non existent customer service with Uber Eats and Sweet Fin for hours, when we should have been simply enjoying food that we paid for with our...

The food is really terrific - Celebrity chef, Dakota Weiss, who we love created the menus. The graphics are as fresh, bright, bold and tasteful as the food in the new $20 abundant sushi boxes. In-person visits: We had such fun at the Abbot Kinney location. Even the tiny amount of outdoor seating was shared with us customers talking to each other - and almost EVERYONE passing by stopped to inspect the box! There was only one worker who struggled but kept up with the flow of orders. side from the annoying, automated recording (that texts back)

Food is great and fresh. If it was solely based on food I'd rate SF 5 stars. We order ahead to pickup which saves a lot of frustration and wait time. Staff is not the most welcoming which always throws me off considering we come here multiple times a week. Couple chairs for seating otherwise you have to take it home. Also parking can be difficult as it's right on Abbot Kinney.
