After a short wait in line, we stumbled into the Let’s Go! One rainy Saturday night. The vibes were right, a buzz filled the air as people everywhere were enjoying the sounds. We must’ve walked in on an 80s block because for the hour or so that we were there they seemed to be playing more 80s than 70s disco, but it was all good the DJ was playing bangers that had the room singing like they were down the street at Max Karaoke. We all grabbed drinks and proceeded to find a space on the wildly crowded dance floor. Maybe 30 minutes into the 80s block is when the DJ slipped back into the 70s with some classic Whitney Houston. The bar is adjoined to De La Nonna and shares the same entrance from the street. We arrived a little after 9 and there was a line outside. It took about 15 minutes to get in. In typical LA form, it wasn’t packed inside yet they wanted a queue to form outside probably for optics. There are some places to sit or stand around while letting your drink rest on something. Cocktails are $17. People do dance and it IS disco music. They actually play records here too.
