I am pretty lame and boring and wish I could speak the Spanish.Was a little bit of a barrier as far as communication goes ,but feel like I more realistic ,authentic experience possibly than some of the other Cuban restaurants around.The lady working was very nice ,kind and polite even though had a little communication problems.I had been curious about this place and wanting to possibly try it.Glad I did ,the food was delicious,reasonably priced.You can see everything before you order.I live fairly closeby and have a feeling will soon be one of my favorite ,if not my go to place to grab food from and would highly...

This place is authentic! Cuban family owned. Stopped in for the first time and ordered a Cuban. The sandwich was enormous and absolutely delicious. It came with plantains. Those were tasty as well. I haven’t had a Cuban that good since I was in Florida. The owners were super friendly and very gracious hosts. You get a lot of food for the money. I did NOT leave hungry. Be adventurous! El Cimarron is by far one of the Best Cuban restaurants located in Louisville, KY. Looks like a little hole in the wall, however, sometimes the best foods are found in this type of location. The owner and staff are extremely friendly. The portions of food are generous. The restaurant is very clean and quaint. Did I mention the food is beyond delicious.
