Rick's Night Shotz — Restaurant in Loveland

My wife and I have been regular pool players here for the last 5 years, and it has been our favorite bar in town. At least, it was our favorite bar until the new owners took over recently, and it has since become a very hostile environment. In fact, last night we stopped by around 6:30 to go play pool and eat dinner, and we sat in the parking lot for about 10 minutes while listening to music so my wife could take her diabetes medication before eating. We’ve done this every time we’ve ever been there for the last 5 years without issue. Anyway, the owner was sitting outside and I guess she had been intensely watching us, because when we had moved our vehicle out of the sun (it was getting hot), she had followed the car and proceeded to stand behind us taking pictures. My wife opened the door and politely asked if she needed anything, to which the owner rudely responded with a snobby “well can I help you?” We told her we were going to go inside to play some pool and eat dinner, but she went off on us and accused us of doing lines of coke. I’m assuming she took the pictures of the car to send to the police to make a completely false and asinine accusation about us, as I did see her on the phone before we moved the car out of the sun. We were just completely appalled and disappointed by her unprofessional and insane behavior! She was very, very rude to us and it’s very disappointing because as I’ve mentioned we have been regulars there for years, and now we will no longer be returning there. We did tell her that she just lost two loyal customers, but she just sneered in our faces and did not even have the decency to apologize. I mean who does that? Who makes such wild accusations, continues to call the police, take pictures of our property, and behave so belligerently? We are sad to part ways with Night Shots, but we are more than happy to never have to interact with that...

Don't be fooled by the appearance of this seemingly dive bar. Because it is and In a HUGE way it isn't. Inside an out the ambiance is just what you might expect, but behind that is a gem cleverly hidden. Let me count it down for ya

3rd- The atmosphere is of a small dive. Yet, on the inside there is a massive amount of room. Pool tables and darts with space for league play away from the regular crowd. You won't feel cramped the outside looks small but it is a very large space inside.

2nd- the staff are always talking to you. You won't be forgotten about. They are what the service industry used to be! Friendly and fabulous!

1st- I know I have called it "dive- ish", don't be fooled, the food is downright done right! American fare and some Mexican items too. The appetizer menu will start you off right. If you plan on a burger with that appetizer... Bring your A game. I can stuff it down when it's good, but this time, I lost! So much of a good thing, it was heavenly.

Prices, were absolutely reasonable. You won't be ripped off. I got my monies worth and then some.

I lost to scarfing all my meal in this wonderful place, but I won in a BIG way discovering this absolute gem....

If I could give 0 stars I would. I've tried to stop in the last 2 nights just to play pool after work and they have been closing early. Like hours early cause the bartender is going out to drink themselves. Last night was the worst. I walked in and it's still an hour before close and I get yelled at that they've already called last call and I can't even come in. Not sure why that is but there was a group in there drinking and when I asked why I want allowed in there since it was an hour before close and there were other people in there drinking the bartender decided to charge towards me yelling and screaming for me to get out or he'd call the cops. He was clearly intoxicated and I think it's very unprofessional to be that drunk while working and to yell at customers. I hope this gets read so I can make a formal complaint cause when I told him I would talk to his boss or the owner he told me to go for it cause he'd call them 1st and make sure my story didn't matter.
