This Dominos is a WIP, they have lost 2 General Managers and 2 Assistant Managers through unknown means in 3 weeks and have suffered horrible reviews as well as delivery times due to this. The employees are doing their absolute best to keep the team together with 1 driver holding the evening shift together while trying to train a new manager who knows next to nothing about the processes.
I ordered from them twice and although the wait times are unusually long, they go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service while doing their best to maintain an atmosphere of being what we expect them to be. Some people get cold food and that's due to 3 things people who order delivery don't seem to consider.
The 3 things are this, 1) they are short staffed, in 3 weeks they went from 9 drivers and 4 in store employees to 4 drivers and 2 in store employees. So now deliver times go up and so does the time to make the food. Reason 2) after realizing an issue the drivers now need to do their jobs but also cover the ovens and mistakes can and do occur during a rush of 30 or more orders with 1 person making pizzas. Things get backlogged like they do when driving in rush hour traffic. Finally number 3), traffic causes people especially drivers to take longer, if there's an accident or congestion, more than 1 delivery. These all accumulate into added stress that the drivers handle that the consumer, we the customers, don't see or think about.
With everything stated above and unless I see a different reason occur or gain more forbidden knowledge then my rating stays at 5 stars. People need to remember that if they don't tip the drivers make below minimum wage and will not wish to continue working. As such we are the ones that are affecting their overall performance. Who would want to make a delivery and not get any type of payment for their services, let's not forget peapod, grubhub make it mandatory to tip 10%, we can do it but why not? Greed, most people want their food and think the delivery charge covers the tip, they are WRONG. The charge is so that it covers the pizza insurance so you get a new pizza if it is damaged, THAT IS ALL.
I hope this is both informing and helpful as a review. Keep up the hard work Dominos I support you and...
Read moreI had not ordered from Domino's in over two years because of repeated poor foid quality and timeliness of orders. So today, I saw your 50% offer and thought I would give Domino's another shot.
I went on your website to order and the website said current wait time was less than 18 minutes. I ordered a Large Extra Pepperoni pizza @ 7:24 pm. The tracker confirmed the order and said it was being prepped and would be ready in 18 minutes. It took 27 minutes of "prep" before it was put in the oven at 7:51 according to the tracker and a text message I received. At 8:04 the tracker said the pizza was ready (40 minutes not the 18 minutes promised). I went inside and nobody knew where my pizza was. I asked for the manager. He was prepping pizza. So I told him about all of the above and he said he had just put my order in the oven and it would be ready in "a few minutes." I told him to just refund my money. How can you tell a customer that the order is ready and then make them wait when the get there. You have very serious issues with your system. I'll be back in a couple years. At least Papa John's and Pizza Hut have always had my order ready when they say it...
Read moreUsually I order my pizza from home but today I decided to go to the domino store and order in person. Right when I stepped foot into this dominos location I Immediately noticed the trashiness of the restaurant. It looks like they havnt mopped the floors or wiped anything down in about three months. And then I got confronted by the rudest little man trying to take my order, who also got it wrong, as well as not knowing how to even ring in the order. While standing in front of the cashier waiting for my WRONG order I noticed a lot of profanity being thrown around the kitchen area between employees. I had also politely asked that the person preparing my food could wear a set of gloves but then I was told they didn't have not one pair of gloves in the restaurant . I mean really? I have worked in the restaurant industry and bartending for a few years now and even as a bartender I don't work with food but have a box of gloves provided for me. I am very happy with my choice of going in person today so I could know never to order from that dominoes...
