Mackinac City is desperately lacking in tacos, and this place aims to fix that! They've got a very customizable menu, and a bar for you to pick your own taco stuffings. They also have the standard burritos/quesadillas and bowls. Meat was good quality, the myriad salsas were fresh, and the food came out fast. It's not a fancy place by any means (it's a reincarnation of an old burger king location) but in a place filled with touristy American grills and bougie sit-downs, it's a refreshing choice. As the clientele builds I expect small issues like stale chips will be resolved. Sadly there are no margaritas or lagers to compliment your tacos. But if you want a reasonable amount of food (who wants to deal with leftovers on vacation) for a fair price, that's not just another burger place, definitely check...

Our friend who is local to Mackinaw City recommended this restaurant. We ordered the fajita nachos and fajitas. The Manager went above and beyond to make sure we got exactly what we wanted! It was SO good and you really get a lot of food! (We had to get take-out containers.) In my opinion the things that take this restaurant to the next level are: A) A fresh toppings bar! Salsa, sour cream, chopped onions and lettuce, habenero onions, lettuce and cheese to name just a few. Amazing and fresh! B) The restaurant is very clean! From the fresh toppings bar to the beverage station and especially the bathrooms...VERY CLEAN! The staff is out and about tidying up at all times as well. The GREAT NEWS is.... They are open all year!!! Worth the stop if you are heading to the U.P. or...

"During our visit to Mackinaw City, this was one of the places we ate at. Honestly, it wasn't the best experience, but oh well. The service was excellent, and the bathrooms were very clean. We visited the place twice; the first time, it wasn't a very good experience. Almost all the sauces were bland, and it seemed like they had added water to stretch them out. The tortillas for my daughter's tacos were stuck together and chewy, the meat was cold, and as for my wife's burrito, well, let's just say she ate it. On the second visit, I asked them to heat the tortillas separately, and they were better. That day, the sauces weren’t bad, and just like the first time, the customer service was very good. I think I would go back since the second time the experience wasn't so bad, except for my torta, which looked like one of those panini sandwiches, not made with bolillo or telera bread 🥴🥴, but oh well, much better than other places we tried in the area."

Attention Tourists: This is the place to eat. Everything we got was top shelf and delicious. I got the al pastor burrito 🌯. And I honestly don't know how they fit so much meat in it. Every bite was better than the last. My hungry teenager got a beef and rice bowl and it looked like the plate was clean when he was finished because he ate every grain of rice! And the portions were big enough that we had leftovers for breakfast tomorrow. Why spend your time getting beat up by a 65-year-old woman at a fudge shop when you could get authentic delicious Mexican food here.

Absolutely delicious! My husband and I each got a steak burrito and a bottle of Mexican pop. The burritos were huge! Along with what we put on them from the topping bar, they became humongous and very filling! They were so good! The man at the counter was really nice, we got our food fast, the restaurant was clean and the topping bar is expansive with lots of good stuff. There’s also a basket with probably ten different kinds of hot sauces on each table. The prices are also good! We will return! Highly recommended!
