This was my first visit and hadn't done much research into their style. Fattys is about 30 mins from my house so generally out the way but i was in the area, so wanted to check this one off my list (moving to my must go back list). Walked in and ordered at the register and walked out in 12 mins. Ordered their default 16" Supreme which had the standard sausage, pepperoni, green pepper, mushrooms and onion for $16. The pizza is akin to Brooklyn style with a super thin base but has that delicious chew (guess thats why it was so fast). The crust had been hit with a little garlic and salt....real subtle but there....great touch. The toppings seemed fresh cut and good proportion to melt right into the cheese. Sauce was just the right amount but delicious on its own... would love some meatballs and sauce from here. If you're from this area you know IVP if you like pizza. Id put Fattys up against them....definitely on that same level.... The only thing I wish was that they were cooking in a wood/coal fired oven. If that was the case, this would be the #1 pizza 40 miles in any direction. I took mine to go. Cashier was super friendly and sweet and writes notes and dad jokes on the inside of the lids. Building construction in the area limited parking....probably worse during the week. The inside was a bit dated but clean... just a corner joint serving stellar pizza! Id say this is a tie for the best pizza in macon (but im partial to NY style).

Today is June 25 2019. I as usual went to Fatty's the get me some pizza. Its so close to my job that I thought if I call in I could walk down and pick it up. Well I made the call and was told it would take 45mins. My lunch bro is only 30 mins. But since I like the pizza I said ok. When I got there one person was working the front. She passed by me three times before acknowledging me. I said I came to pick up call in. As soon as I turned my back she said oh its done. I started thinking how could it be dine and she said 45 mins. So I said oh well good I wont be late going back to work. I opened the pizza and to my surprise I had two slices that look like they came from the kids menu. When I asked. The person working told me I'm sorry we will get you next time. And walked off. REALLY.. YOU DONT EVEN KNOW WHO I AM... That is unacceptable to me. 5 days ago I did a review and this is what I said.... Sadly I dont feel this way anymore..... This place takes me back home. The pizza taste just like pizza from New Jersey, that slice you get on the corner. Taste just like real Italian pizza. My favorite go to place for really pizza. Staff was very nice also. The salads are good to.

Disgraceful. Just moved here. I live less than 2 miles from this place and contemplated ordering from here for months just to be highly disappointed. I ordered A PLAIN CHEESE PIZZA (you would think it wouldn't be so hard) and received a room temperature soggy greasy mess. Like i stated before i live less than 2 miles from the location and still received disgusting old pizza that had clearly been sitting out. No way in hell could it have been fresh. Food is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE to just be messing up customers ordering and feeling comfortable doing so. I am extremely disappointed and DO NOT RECOMMEND this location AT ALL. Maybe if you go inside and demand a fresh pizza they'll feel pressured to actually provide a decent FRESH product but if not then THEY ARE MORE THAN COMFORTABLE giving you old pre-made pizza that's been sitting around so long that the grease has completely soaked the bottom. The picture shown is what the pizza looked like after i IMMEDIATELY received it, I removed 3 pieces (that were stuck together) so ppl could see ALLLLL the grease that collected at the bottom (this process takes time which means this was already made and they still felt comfortable giving it to someone who lived 5 minutes away), just pathetic...

My first time ordering here yesterday. The online ordering was very convenient and my order was made accurately. I was looking for a different pizza place and I chose this place because of the reviews. I placed my order around 4:15pm/4:20pm to be picked up at 5:30pm. I ordered a 16 inch supreme with 2 extra toppings and a 10 piece wing. $40. 😳 Once I arrived I received another email saying my order won’t be ready until 6:00pm 😳. Oh man they were stingy with the toppings and the pizza was dry because of so little marinara sauce. I like thin crust pizza but this was extra thin. I should have known mine was going to be like that by the way I saw that lady holding that pizza dough in the air stretching it until it was see through. The flavor was good but that’s about it. Oh I didn’t get a email like it stated I would to inform me pizza was ready. Pizza was sitting on the rack when I walked in. The wings were ok just a bit to salty. The people inside were friendly.

Fatty's has been my 5-star pizza place for as many years as I've eaten there. However, recently, things have seemingly changed on the service side of the house. I'm not sure if it is because they've rightfully pushed out their real competitors downtown, or if they are focusing their efforts on their new location, but it will certainly be some months before I make the effort again. I feel bad buying from Pizza Hut, but going from "never a bad experience" to having a house full of people waiting on food that was never going to arrive because I wasn't told I don't live within "golf cart range" (right, a pizza place that suddenly only delivers to a few blocks, and not even near Mercer's campus), not training their new staff, and being completely unapologetic about their failures leaves an exceptionally bad taste that even good pizza won't mask. Original review: "Never a bad experience and consistently good food. Try the pickle pizza, when it's around!"

Visiting Macon this weekend and stopped in for dinner tonight. Their $5 special for 2 slices and a drink is quite a deal. I had the supreme slices and they were awesome. The crust was a perfect balance of toasted crunch and chewy pull of pizza dough. The sauce had great flavor and wasn’t too sweet or too acidic. The toppings were fresh and plentiful. The garlic knots were well coated in garlic butter and a great starter. Husband ordered the carnivore slices and again, served hot and cooked to perfection. The pepperoni was crispy but not burned, and the meat was plentiful. The spinach salad was fresh, generously portioned and had delicious bacon and fresh mushrooms on top. I was definitely impressed with the flavor of the food and the value of what we got. We will definitely be back on our next visit to town!
