Kilwins Ice Cream - Chocolate - Fudge — Restaurant in Madeira Beach

Visited Kilwins on a late October evening, was disappointed after arriving only to find the store was closed early despite the normal closing time. I did subsequently write to Kilwins as I was unsure if this was something normal or not as their hours showed differently.

I received a call from Larry the General Manager today who was very friendly and informative. Although the weather by me at the time wasn’t too bad, I learned the evening I drove down they had inclement weather for quite some time and due to the lack of business that day they make the decision to close early.

Hands down one of the friendliest managers who I learned has been in the area for quite some time. Very helpful and tries his best to do right. Will most definitely make the trip again back to Kilwins when I need...

As you open the door and walk into this store the chocolate smell wraps you and you feel the urge to eat everything… and as you look into their chocolate and fudge selection you are mesmerized with their amazing combination of flavors. It was a hot Saturday so most of us enjoyed amazing ice cream (mine was Cappuccino chip and it was sinfully good) also tried the lemon and the strawberry sorbet and wow, so good!

I will be back when the temperatures get a bit colder to have hot chocolate and a chocolate apple… they looked so delicious!

The service was great, so helpful and amicable (even though I gave them a hard time deciding and tasting, they were great)

Was on my honeymoon first weekend/week of March in Madeira Beach and was SO EXCITED to see that there was a Kilwins within walking distance of our condo we were staying at. I have been enjoying Superman ice cream since I was a kid and I'm 36. It tastes like nostalgia to me! I told the wonderful human (sorry I didn't get their name - they said their parents were the owner) at the counter how much enjoying this simple treat on my honeymoon meant to me and they said that my new husband and my cones would be their treat today! I would gladly give money for Kilwins ice cream as it is always tasty, but this "small" gesture went a long way with these newlyweds! We will be back next time we are in...
