My husband and I came here for breakfast. He ordered an egg, cheese, and sausage biscuit, and a sweet potato biscuit with ham. I ordered a sweet potato biscuit with ham. The sweet potato biscuit was the best I've ever had. We had the chocolate chip poundcake which was heavenly. The service was warm and friendly. Everyone aims to please. The atmosphere is charming. On a recent trip to the area my daughter and granddaughter and I found this wonderful tea room. The atmosphere was extremely clean and appealing. We all had tea. I had an Earl Geay cheesecake with lavender that put you in a state of euphoria! There couldn't be a better cheesecake anywhere!! All the baked selections looked delicious. We were touched by the background story and all the tea cups and pots that were donated as decorations. This is a MUST visit place if you are in the area. Wow!!! This place is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! It’s about time Manteo has a bakery!! The staff is absolutely incredible, you won’t find better service or friendlier faces on the beach. The baker is one of Manteo High Schools most loved teachers of all time. The rest of the staff are the nicest people. They make coming in an amazing experience.

The food is to die for. Do yourself a favor and go get a biscuit, cupcake, and a cobbler-or anything else for that matter, you can’t go wrong here!
