My husband and I walked in the door just before 5pm to find two guys already waiting to be seated. There were plenty of tables open, and yet the waitress were standing around just chatting with each other. We stood there waiting to be seated for about five minutes, during that time, three different waitress walked past us about five different times, avoiding eye contact each time. There was no "we will be right with you" or acknowledgment. Other staff was standing near by at the cashier spot also ignored us. A man who came in the door after us said "what, are we invisible?!" to the rest of us standing around confused as to what was going on.
After five minutes of totally being ignored, we decided to head to the bar, as that section in a restaurant is usually open seating and usually quicker service. We were wrong. We picked a seat at watched as multiple waitstaff, kitchen staff, a manager (possibly two), walked past our table for 15 minutes, no eye contact, not a look in our direction. A lady even came over to the table next to us to clear it, and not one look from her. Two other guest came into the bar at this time and she immediately said hi to them as they asked if they could sit at that table. She didn't even wipe it down, just told them in a friendly voice to "have a seat". Then asked what they would like.
After 15 minutes of starting to believe maybe we were invisible, a waitress came over to ask if we wanted to order drinks. Though this wasn't before asking other tables who came in after us. It took 15 more minutes to get our drinks, not because the one bar tender was busy, she was instead chatting with staff and other guests.
We tried to order another round of drinks, but after attempting to get any waitstaff's attention for 10 minutes, we gave up and went and asked for the bill.
This wasn't a good first time experience at this restaurant for me. I asked my husband, who has been to multiple other Buffalo Wild Wings, if this is just standard for BWW to treat their guests this way, to which he replied "no, not at all".
I would also like to add, we were never brought any water (maybe this is standard at BWW?), our menus were a sticky mess, and the tray my food came out on was so sticky, it shredded my napkin that was placed too close. I about lost the whole tray to the floor too. When I tried to pick up the napkin, the tray slid across the table.
Overall, food was good and waitstaff was friendly, if you could get...
Read moreWent back and 2nd time was awful. They were out of mozzarella sticks for the Appetizer sampler, I asked if something could be substituted or if theyd adjust the price, answer was no. Theyd let me order it, but it would come without the sticks and be the same price lol. Never heard of that before. I asked the waitress to double check and the manager came out to confirm. Instead of confirming and telling me, the manager came out to explain why they wouldnt substitute. I still dont fully understand, but it was a minor deal turned awkward by having him come out to the table. Towards the end of our meal I ordered additional wings assuming theyd be out in 10 or so minutes, we were almost done eating but the kids meals werent quite enough for the hungry kids. I ordered 10 wings for 17 bucks and after 25 minutes I asked if they were coming still, waitress said yes and after another 10 minutes I asked and just told her to box them up straight from the kitchen since we had been done and sitting there for a while. I believe they were never ordered until I told them to box them up, the waitress had a confused look when I asked about the wings the first time and a "Oh sh*t" look the 2nd time. The cafeteria style seating was obnoxiously loud this time around. We asked about eating out on the patio and the hostess didnt seem happy about the idea of having to get our 2 tables ready out there so we said nevermind. 90 bucks for 2 small kids meals, 1 beverage, nachos(very plain and basic), burger and 10 wings seems high in my opinion. Everything seems high to me though so I cant hold that against them. Overall we will likely not be back for a while. It was only a twice a year kind of place for us anyhow but we will cut that down and maybe go every year or two. We eat out every other weekend to give you an idea. The inattentive and unsympathetic service being the primary reason for this...
Read moreI've been going back and forth on posting a public review because I truly love BWW. It's mine and my son's spot but I have been so disappointed with the service the last 3 times I've been there. The food is always good with BWW standards first off. Second, the waiter / waitresses seem to take a 15 minute break right as you're paying. I have waited at least 15 minutes after I've received my check each night. That's the time I want to just go and am stuck waiting. Tonight, I received my receipt after my points were awarded and I was paying with cash. There were 2 parties around me so I decided to wait for the waitress because I didn't want someone to take my cash...... Literally 20 minutes later she comes up to me says, "oh were you waiting for me?" Of course I'm waiting for you. I never said I was paying with cash if I had my debit card I would still be waiting that long for you. I've definitely noticed a delay in service once they realize you have rewards versus just cash but I still tip based upon the total amount because I think that's fair. I didn't want to tonight cuz the service absolutely sucked but I still did because I'm such a people pleaser. But I'm very disappointed with the Buffalo Wild Wings service overall. I waited 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge me tonight in the bar. If I didn't have to go back I wouldn't but my son absolutely loves this place so I go back pretty often only for my kid. For those of you who have kids then you know why you suffer. Hopefully this changes. It also seems like they only have five servers all together which have to 2 serve the bar and the restaurant which is crazy. I feel like there should be one or two servers in the bar and multiple more in the restaurant specifically. Like I said the food is great it's Buffalo wild wings which is what you would expect from their food but their service has not...
