Very few customers were in house. Chose to sit in the bar for less noise from young children. Only 2 clean tables in bar. Young man, who I believe, is normally bar tender, took our order & got drinks. My strawberry lemonade tasted like all water, a drop of lemon & strawberry puree. He took our order and remade a much better strawberry lemonade. The TV volume was very loud. Took quite a while for our order to arrive. When it did, bar tender dropped our food at the table but forgot utensils & napkins. He left to get them, but got hung up elsewhere. We started on the french fries which were tasty. My broccoli had some orangeish tinged tops- meaning had been around awhile- and it was slightly warm but mostly raw. When he returned with utensils probably 5 min later, our meal had almost gotten cold. I then asked for a touch of butter. He brought back an orange colored cold liquid " butter" that tasted like fake popcorn butter. My chicken wrap was ok. But I could not finish the raw broccoli. Then, went to the loo and found 2 paper towel dispensers. 1 was full- but the battery was dead. The other was nearly empty and the battery was so weak it would only advance 2-3inches at a time. And the BR was untidy. It's a shame!!! When we lived in Bothell we went to Red Robin alot and the food & service was always really good. This location needs to train their staff about having the tables ready with all supplies and not make customers wait while their meals get cold. And how to choose & steam their broccoli correctly. If this location in N. Marysville/ Arlington doesn't clean up their act - they won't last much longer. We won't...
Read moreAs soon as we walked in we were seated. The place was packed full of families. It was 5:30-6:00 p.m. on a Friday. I wanted to order Chili and sweet potatoes and was told 20-25 minutes later that they ran out of Chili so I decided to get the Cheesy Fondue Cheeseburger with Zucchini Fries. I got my food 20 or so minutes after my son and husband got their food. My son's food was cold to the touch. I always check for food temperature since I have worked in restaurants before it's just something I do naturally. My husband's food was cold as well. The manager did apologize that they ran out of chili he was very professional and courteous. Our waiter was charming and very attentive. We did receive bottomless lemonade. When I did get my food it was hot. The restaurant general manager did offer up dessert on the house. The customer service was exceptional. But the food was very cold for the rest of my family. I also noticed that the place was extremely crowded and wasn't following Covid-19 (6 feet apart) wasn't being practiced at this establishment. There were people at every single table with no space between families. By the time I was halfway eating I was ready to go it was so busy crowded and loud. But overall the customer service was the best so far in 2021. I just wish the waiters would bring food out as soon as it hits the plate not waiting on other plates for the same table just bring the food out hot. It's important to keep food hot and not in the danger zone of food safety. 5 stars for customer service attitude but the food coming out was cold. 2 stars for food quality and safety. I am just...
Read moreBrought my employees here for a casual holiday gathering after HopsNDrops was unexpectedly closed due to water main issues. Service started out ok, but three of us ordered "with pink" (I even asked for "as pink as you can manage") and every burger came out well done and dry. The food itself was quite disappointing - bland, dry, cheeses not melted much, and we all found the amount of toppings to be pretty sparse, especially on the burnt ends burgers. Mozz curls were boring soggy cardboard, onion rings had no flavor in the batter, and the shakes are nothing like they used to be - limited range of flavors, and weak flavors of what remains. The shakes do at least still come with the tin and a decent quantity. The beer cheese with the sad little pretzel bites was decent. The payment tablet was irritating to use, especially with my non-tap business card. It claimed it printed a receipt then happily continued on without even noticing nothing had happened. And I gave up after about eight tries to get our server's attention as he passed by us (since there was an error on the bill), finally hunting down the cluster of servers near the expediting area to get them to give me a receipt (after all, this was a business event). Even then, apparently only our server could get a receipt printed (even though I knew our table number, from the tablet), so had to wait for them to hunt him down and get him to come over and generate a receipt. Definitely will not be back to Red Robin. My employees enjoyed our event, but all also felt that Red Robin was off their list of places to go...
