We recently ate there and the service was horrible, my youngest kiddo and I got food poisoning from this place as we don't eat out very often, it's our 3rd time coming to specifically this place!
The gal I.d'd my son 2 times and treated him like he wasn't old enough to order a drink from the bar menu- the gal seems to lack professional customer service and grace, her math wasn't mathing- so I guess she needed to come back AFTER mynson was served his drink and check again AFTER he started consuming the beverage- I spoke up and she instantly became aggressive and argumentive-I'm also assuming she'll comment negative reactions to our extreme negative experience, with hee but that is also what uneducated people do, instead of mke up for it, they retaliate against customers) she stormed off to the kitchen and bitched about us in a different language loudly like we don't have a translator and couldn't understand 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼.
Happy to say we won't be supporting this business again! I have a child with disabilities and we both were treated rudely and also, no refills, was completely ignored, The behavior was giving petty & uneducated and therefore I feel like the food poisoning was done intentionally, for speaking up about the 2nd I.D checking, which was also inappropriate.
An emergency room trip confirmed that it was food poisoning- the common denominator was the rice pudding dessert with Mango and banana. (Possibly old ricepudding that was refreshed with sweetened condensed milk), the food was also tested, positive.
On our visit (2nd) before that, a employee came out very fired up and yelling. We thought he was a angry worker- but he was fired up about politics not caring about how loud he was, he sounded like he needed a Therapist, very unsettling and extremely unprofessional. Yelling around with 2 people who looked like they were customers, they didn't seem to engage him as he was rating up a stork. Very weird, very unprofessional.
This is a example of 2 out of 3 visits- won't waste my $$ coming to a place that served us old food & no customer service.
I'd give a NO star rating if it was possible.
Highly do not reccomend, this is day 2 for us trying to recover from food poisoning- which I've had to miss work for, that's too expensive.
Edit* I should have looked at the reviews before coming to this place, the rude waitress is listed in photos attached to others reviews, you'd think that if you want successful business they would take customer service for the food industry classes, Good Customer service goes a long ways!!!!
Tulalip Resort serves better Green curry chicken that isnt grainy and other Asian cuisines, we will stick with Journeys East, they're professional, and display lovely, courteous welcoming into a very ambient and enjoyable atmosphere. They also treat my disabled daughter with dignity and don't rush her into ordering as well, I bring my daughter to help her have good fooding experiences outside of the home, my issue is how abrasive we were treated and how that mistreatment overstimulated my daughter in a very negative way, which is angering as a parent/advocate for my child, thie behavior was so crusty, I wanted to leave, my son encouraged us to stay. When we go out to eat. We like people who really KIND with poise and tact- which was very lacking by our waitress.Side note, I'll come back with the edit and phone number for the food inspector- yall need to report these types of incidents with all local restaurants, it's not worth it!!! Food poisoning can be extreme and sometimes leads to death! Yall gotta take this seriously. Follow up with more than a post. They don't care about customers that complain and don't want to be held accountable either, which shows in other 1 and 2 star reviews! Why would I call the owners, when we've received poor service with food posioning???? E.R'S DONT CALL restaurants that's a breech of patients HIPPA, and everything I write is true. I knew you'd respond.I'd not come back and eat at your Venue even if you pay me! TULALIP ALL THE WAY! 0...
Read moreAnother Thai place, another let down. The waiter, while seemingly polite, had difficulty understanding our requests and spoke softly. My wife and I came here and we ordered calamari as an appetizer, completely bland of flavor whatsoever. My wife ordered the phad Thai Thai style 3⭐ spicy level all seafood and it had no spice on it at all and was completely bland. I ordered the Thai BBQ chicken green curry 5⭐ spicy level with peanut sauce, there was absolutely no barbecue on the chicken and it tasted like it came from Costco because it was a rotisserie chicken that was not deboned. I also spent more time in my mouth with my fingers getting bone and cartilage out from the rotisserie chicken that I gave up halfway through and just got a to-go box. It also was very bland and had less than a Sriracha or jalapeno pepper spice level to it. I also did not receive any peanut sauce in addition to the white rice and was given brown rice. I called the waiter back to give him instructions that I ordered white rice not brown rice. The decor in here was elegant but was overpowered by the loudness of the music videos on the TV in the corner and the bathrooms looked nice but I did not understand why there were Star wars and miscellaneous pictures in the bathrooms, it was confusing. The bidet was the best thing in this place, and I didn't even need to use it. The food here as a whole is abysmal. The owner or manager was walking around talking to our waiter about his vacation the whole time that we were there. I think the owner needs to assess what exactly is going on here and see if they would like to continue down this failure of a journey of food. The manager also gave us one extra napkin when my wife asked for extra napkins, even though my current napkin was holding all of the chicken discards. The kitchen staff also needs to learn about cross-contamination. When you wipe your face and wipe your hands on your pants, that does NOT clean them. The only way I will go back is if they pay me to eat their food AND it's ACTUALLY what I order. (A-han thii tham hai ruu-sik sa-rao) (A-han mai-ar-roi)
(Edit: for your response (owner) no, I was not looking for a bone to pick. I was looking for Thai BBQ chicken w/peanut sauce. Not false...
Read moreThe food is delicious; however, the service has a lot to be desired. Here are a few specific details on the service: 1) The owners look miserable. They did not smile and we felt like we were inconveniencing them by coming in to eat. 2) We ordered the crispy favorite chicken. Our server (one of the owners) asked if we would like white rice or brown rice with the entree. When we received the bill, there was an additional charge for rice. 3) After we received our food, she did not come back to check on us and make sure everything was ok. I had to call her over because something was not cooked enough. At first, she argued with me about it and then had another one made. 4) They charged us an automatic service gratuity of 18% for seven of us. I understand some restaurants do this (in my experience, usually for tables of eight or more), and I don't mind this charge for a large group WHEN the service is good AND it is disclosed on the menu or somewhere else. This is not disclosed anywhere on the menu or in their restaurant. When I talked to the owner about the service gratuity being added to the bill without any notification, he said they were doing new menus, and I suggested they include the automatic service gratuity policy on the new menus. In addition, I suggested, if an entree does not include rice, they ask if the customer would like rice first and, if so, then ask what kind. He responded positively. I also suggested they smile and be more welcoming and attentive. He told me he was having a bad day before he arrived and thought his wife was doing a great job of taking care of us. She apologized for not smiling, pointed at her throat, and said she had a cold. He also said they are 50 years old and not going to be "uppity" all the time. Their idea of customer service is interesting, and I would rather support a business that provides a welcoming,...
