Whale’s Tale — Restaurant in Maui

This was our last stop before we headed out of Hawaii. It just so happened that a bunch of us spotted dolphin pods (~20 dolphins) right before going into the place so it's highly possible that the endorphins were already released :D The juice (which I asked for instead of Mai Tai as my welcome drink) was fresh and tasted great- sweet and simple combination of orange, apple and pineapple. This place has potential, but needs to step it up. Coffee is watered down. Pastries are miniature and look/taste like they are from the grocery store. Ordered two fruit cups and both were moldy…returned them for new ones…moldy again. Açaí bowl needs work. The granola is cheap and shouldn’t be over half the contents on the bowl. The workers at Whale’s Tale are so friendly, so the service is great! They were supper accommodating and willing to explain the drinks in further detail. They also made small talk and truly listened to what I had to say. The prices were a bit high, but the drink was delicious! I really appreciated the sugar free options. I got a vanilla iced latte and then a caramel and hazelnut iced latte. Beautiful view...
