From the time we got in the restaurant, reservation for party of 11, there were issues. The server who initially seated us seemed to be the only server working both the restaurant and bar area. She was doing her best. I wish I remembered her name. But other than that..... The carpet was sticky to walk on The other side of the Hibachi seating had previous guests whose plates etc where not cleaned until we were almost finished. The waitress forgot to turn on our grill so when the chef came out to cook he couldn't and we had to wait another 20 minutes. The food sat on the trays the whole time we were waiting for the grill to heat up. Meat and all. The chef was observed yelling at the waitress for this. This should've been done in private. The drinks from the bar were awful.
My sin had booked this dinner for his daughters graduation which we were attending after dinner. Thank goodness he booked it so early as we were not expecting to be at the restaurant for over 2 hours. The restaurant did comp the 3 appetizers on a bill over $500. The General Manager did come over and apologize, but all in all this was just issue after issue. The food was n I t terrible but it was not the best I've had at this type of restaurant. I doubt I'll be back and Habachi cooking is one of my favorites. Good luck Rayoka. I sincerely hope this review helps you to make some changes so you...
Read moreThis is our new favorite sushi and hibachi place! At first I didn't have high hopes because it took forever for our chef to join the table and for our drinks to come. However, once service started and we got to eat we were very impressed. Our chef was fun to watch and very interactive. He gave our table two rounds of sake squirts and also presented us with this lovely fire at the end. My husband's veggies were actually cooked fully and had a perfect sear. It's always been a pet peeves of ours when our veggies aren't cooked fully. His scallops and steak was perfectly seasoned and he had a pretty generous portion. I ordered 2 sushi rolls. The glass city roll was humongous and absolutely delicious so much so I ordered another to try which was the raider roll. Although, smaller this one was by far my favorite the level of spice was perfect and the fish inside tasted very fresh and complimented the each very well. My only complaints were wait time to be served and higher prices than normal. However, this will be our go to from now on! I have attached a picture of the glass city roll. Didn't get a picture of the raider roll because I devoured it too quickly.
UPDATE: Went back two separate times for birthdays and the food was not the same. Husband and I spent the night in the bathroom on...
Read moreWe were visiting from out of town for a softball tournament that ended quite late. Even though we were calling at 9:30pm, they assured us seating for two... then 6...then 10 showed up and they didn't bat an eye. The food and service was excellent, despite us not only being a very late crowd, but also, hosting 6 teenage girls 😀 Staff seemed gracious rather than annoyed with us (despite how absolutely guilt ridden we were for getting there late and holding them up!) and did not rush us. They were extremely accommodating and patient and made it a fun trip. We also enjoyed the young couple next to us who raise goats and are building a barndominium! (If you're out there, Demi, good luck on your build, your couch, your 🐐 (Bliss especially) and all you do! We appreciated your company and patience as well!) The group really liked the Hollywood Sushi, and we loved our steak and chicken hibachi. We also ordered the lemongrass chicken dumplings to go, which were unique but refreshing and good! All in all, great experience. Great staff. Fabulous atmosphere and my Lord, I wish I could have taken advantage of their GORGEOUS, well stocked bar! Thanks again for a great time. Your management was fantastic, bartender and chef fun and friendly-...
