HORRIBLE, DON’T EVER GO HERE! We placed an online order 8:05 pm ready for pickup at 8:10 pm as per website. We arrive at store at 8:15 pm we wait until 8:39 then 8:52 we decided to cancel order. Why? Because only one person was actually working/making any food the shift leader.(I know his name but will not post on here) He was working SO hard doing every order on his own. There were 4 other employees there hanging out in the front sitting down just chillin on their phones talking. As people started walking in to place orders they all went to the back to go chill. They weren’t cooking, cleaning, greeting customers, or even helping the shift leader make anything. They were out of numerous menu items, one of them being steak. Last time we came here a couple weeks ago it was the same situation with the same crew members and they were out of chips. I asked the shift leader why he won’t ask his fellow coworkers for some help? He said “I’m not worried about them right now”. As a manager that’s your job. To make sure teamwork is happening and that you are all collaboratively working together. I feel bad because it sounds like he is too nice to even ask for help. Which he shouldn’t have to ask for help that’s their job… they are getting paid to do a job. Being that he’s basically on his own and the people “working” with him aren’t helping the hygiene and sanitation of the place is a “0” (see photos below). Their “POS” system is supposedly down, in my opinion that is The shift leaders way of stopping people from ordering because he is so overwhelmed with doing everything on his own.
This brings me to the General Manager Nicole, what are you doing?! You are supposed to be overseeing this location, your oversight shouldn’t stop when it’s the night shift. I never have these issues during the day which is when you work. The employees on the night shift (aside from this specific shift leader) need some SERIOUS retraining. The shift leader needs some managerial skill training though because he’s letting lazy employees take advantage of him. Customers were walking in to order and asking questions and these other employees just straight up ignored them. They are rude and full of attitude. They have zero ambition and customer service. Let’s say that the POS was actually down, the other employees still could have helped this shift leader make the online orders on the main food line. ESPECIALLY since they weren’t taking any in person orders. At the end of the day this location has poor leadership and in return lazy bad attitude employees. BIG LACK OF HYGIENE ISSUE: When this shift leader was making an order for a guy who had been waiting for 20 minutes for a online order, instead of looking up this customers order on the screen he asked for the customers phone then proceeded to place the phone right on the same area that he was making the food with the same gloves on that he was touching/making food with. If this customer has Covid, or just any germs that are on his phone it has now contaminated the food.
I will be contacting the health department as well. You guys are going to make...
Read moreI am 56 years old and this is the first time that I have ever had the experience of dining in at one of the restaurants. I have never in my life, went to Google to give a review of a restaurant. This was the location on Highway 20 and McDonough Georgia. Starting off, I had the steak burrito. The steak was extremely hard and very difficult to chew. When I received it and sat down to eat my food with my wife, it was all completely cold. That’s not where the problem begins. Inside of the restaurant, it was completely y. As the restaurant inside is small, there was not one table or chair that did not have particles of food laying all over the tables. All over the floor, there was particles of food. The doors were greasyy. Once we wiped off a table and proceeded to eat our food, the next step was the trashcan. They had four large trash containers and all of them were spilling over with discard it food and paper containers. As I said, this is the first time that I have ever eaten in one of these restaurants. As I told my wife, I would never be back. I cannot believe here in McDonough Georgia. This restaurant was so disgusting that I myself that have never written a review. Felt the urge to do so for others that may decide to go there I noticed on their website as of now they only have 2 1/2 stars. Whoever the manager is at that restaurant needs to be retrained and how cleanliness should be done in a restaurant. Or a new manager needs to be assigned to this location. In my personal opinion, it needs to be closed down for a few days and thoroughly cleaned properly before it is able to be Reopened. And looked at by upper management before it is able to reopen this restaurant is serving food that is below room temperature and nothing but filth that people for whatever reason think it’s OK to eat their food around
Today, I will also call the health department because this was an ungodly experience I paid a whopping $28.39 for...
Read moreNot sure why I continue to visit this particular location. Maybe it's because I get great food and service from the locations in Stockbridge & Cumberland Mall area. In my last visit, the line was wrapped inside the building, which isn't abnormal for Chipotle. What was abnormal, was the pace at which the staff moved. They proceeded as if there were only 2 - 3 folks in the line when there were literally 15 - 20. As person number 9 in the line, it took nearly 25 minutes to reach the counter, and all orders where single orders with the exception of the family that ordered 3 meals. They were moving at such a slow pace that myself, the customer in front of me, and the customer behind me started to converse about the experience. We actually had time to learn way too much about each other due to the slowness of staff.
In a previous visit; my wife and I walked in and were the only ones in line. The staffer took her time getting to us, never acknowledged us with a "hello", "how are you", "I'll be with you in a moment." We literally stood there for several minutes before she finally decided to walk over and asked, "what y'all want?" By this point I was extremely annoyed and replied, "Nothing!" and walked out.
I thought this was an anomaly, which is why I returned a couple weeks later. Based on my experiences and conversations with other patrons (family, friends & strangers in line), poor and slow service is what should be expected from Chipotle on GA Hwy-20. Too bad because I enjoy the food, but this location has definitely ruined my experience and lost me as a customer. I give 2 stars instead of one because the food turns out to be really good, but I also want the experience of speed, care, concern, and...
