I stood at the counter for a long while before the worker, standing in front of me, acknowledged me. I ordered a nitro cold brew and a few other things. By the time I finished ordering, four ppl were behind me. I waited for my drink and everyone behind me got theirs. At that point, the worker comes up to me and says "sorry we don't have any nitro. I can give you regular cold brew." I said sure. I tasted it and said it tastes bad. He turned away. I asked if I could have ice and vanilla syrup which he obliged. Then comes my berry refresher....it was FULL of ice...which ruins the point of popping bubbles because you can't even drink them with all the ice.
I left and then checked the app. There is a $1 difference between the cold brew and nitro. If they didn't have it, they should have never rung it up. Once they realized I had ordered something that was unavailable, they should have done something else to make it right. They should not have looked at me blankly and handed me a cheaper drink. They also should not have had me wait A FULL 11 MINUTES to tell me my drink was not available. So I called the store. Long story long....girl answering the phone says nothing can be done. First she says it was because I had a mobile order. Nope Then she says it's because I used reward points. Nope. Next she says nothing can be done because I ordered food too. She finally says, They can't refund the difference. They can only remake drinks. I said, "but you can't remake the drink bc you don't have nitro...."
Zero thoughts given to customers here.
Last point, either make your cups better or learn how to mop. The floor is sticky from so many people spilling coffee with the lids popping off. You have one job - sell...
Read moreWhat is it with Starbucks and their precious water?
Despite the circumstances, they demand immediate compensation for same... Even for tap water from the sink, utilizing my own squeaky clean thermos, at a unit where I have made purchases for YEARS. Confuse me?
While I'm not remotely comparing myself to the parched, soot covered, firefighters in NYC on 9/11 who were charged full price for every bottle of water Starbucks sold them. I have, however, doled out quite a few bucks at this specific unit as well as other Starbucks.
So, imagine my surprise when an out-of-sight MOD abruptly stopped a cashier from filling my thermos without a purchase. Did I mention the absence of customers at the counter, so I was not disrupting service.
When I asked to speak with the unseen manager, a gentleman who has seen and waited on me repeatedly over the years, appeared and reiterated this new 'policy'. After I requested the District Manager's number for my own edification (yes, I Karen'ed a little bit 🤷🏽♀️), he grudgingly allowed me access to their delicious, triple filtered ice and water (the reason I drink Starbucks water and their other beverages in the 1st place.)
I may be drinking Dunkin or Panera from now on. I already own a Brita. ...
Read moreThis store has a very nice staff. But they still got all three of my drinks, all the exact same, wrong. I even explained to them how I wanted my drink, I heard the cashier, possibly the shift manager, explain it to the baristas. They were still wrong.
I didn't notice it until I got to the car and sent my daughter back in to buy two shots of espresso so that I could try and fix them. The staff did not understand the purchase of two shots until my 17 year old daughter finally slowed them down to explain the need for the two shots. She explained the Starbucks formula to them and where they had gone wrong. They gave her the two espresso shots. We were driving through to Florida. I was too tired to try and explain.
Unfortunately, as a dedicated Starbucks consumer, I have to say this is the messiest store I've ever been to. Granted, it was the end of the night, but most of the time Starbucks stores are cleaning and prepping for the morning.
STARBUCK HOME OFFICE-- You need more staff and extra hours in this store. This is the only main store on a straightaway to Florida during a vacation week. This store had seven people in the line late in the 26th of December. All people driving somewhere else...
