This is unfortunately the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. We walked in and the place with filthy. There were six of us who needed to be accommodated but all of the tables seat 4. The daughter of the owner told us we were only allowed to move the tables longways and that we were gonna have to use the dirty tables and clean them ourselves. As we finished moving the table, a young guy came from the back and told us we were not allowed to move the tables longways and that we had to move them again. We asked them to help us and they did so reluctantly and ended up finding it too complicated and let us leave them how they were. The daughter got very angry at us for asking the guy to move the tables and they made us wait extra long for our food, I'm guessing to punish us. Then when she brought our food out she was very aggressive and dropped the plates on the tables. Trying to make the best of a bad situation we ate anyway. When we went to pay at the end, the Gad added 18% gratuity to our tab. No one had even waited on us. We had to go to the counter to order our food, we had to refill our own drinks, we had to move and bus the tables ourselves. One friend protested and before you knew it the owner woman came from the back and started shouting at us. Saying she was not a 5-star restaurant and we had no reason to expect better service. She insulted our friends for not speaking Spanish and said "if the six of you never come back again, no loss for me, I will get ten more tomorrow." We will never go back there. The food used to be so much better but now it was very average. I'd rather give m hard earned money to someone who appreciates it and cares for...

I absolutely love the breakfast burritos from here. But today was horrible. I called my order in, waited 15 minutes and then went to pick it up. My mom and aunt decided to ride with me so upon arrival, they also placed an order for a burrito. After waiting, now 35 minutes my burritos still aren't done and once I get it all it had is ham and cheese. Not what I asked for. I told Cookies daughter that I asked for something else but she tried to over talk me and still got my order wrong. She was not willing to let me get what I wanted but what she wanted me to have so I said to hell with this and said I didn't want any of it. I'm not going to pay that much money for something that I didn't want. My mom and aunt didn't get their burritos either because of the poor customer service from...

I didn't come for the glits and glamour of a sit down restaurant. So if you expect to be seated and for the most part waited on this is not the place for you. This is not saying that the customer service was not great. Very nice and polite staff that seemed to be a family. I knew it was going to be good when I heard the waitress walk into the back and started her sentence with "ama" (mom). I came for one thing and that was the consome with a special request of beef instead of lamb meat. They made it happen and it was all I had been wanting. Even though they did warn me that the beef was going to be finely chopped instead of shredded. It was the right amount of spice and the right flavor. The menu includes tacos and gorditas of various meet options that I can not wait to come...

Yes, 100% yes! Go now! Finally we have found authentic Mexican food in North Dallas. This is not tex-mex, fyi. We had the birria tacos as well as a 3 taco plate with steak, ground beef, and chicken with rice and beans. Also got the horchata. Everything was PERFECTION and cooked fresh. The owner was so kind and I believe his mom is the chef so you can taste the motherly love put into the food. They open early and close at 3pm so it’s a breakfast or lunch spot. In conclusion, go try it asap!!!!

Like mentioned in other reviews the parking here sucks and you can easily miss it. Now, this is a true hole in the wall place with amazing food. Went for lunch and we had a variety of different things. I had the birra tacos with some consomme and some El pastor tacos. I absolutely love the birra tacos. They had a little crunch to them from the tortilla and the consomme was amazing. My mouth is salivating thinking about this. Can't wait to go back. Excited to try the rest of their menu.
