Stop lying to your customers and withholding information, especially when it comes to pricing.
I received a small nitro cold brew no ice. The drink was not filled to the top, so I asked them to top it off. They then said we'll need to charge you an additional $5 to top it off.
I then asked why; a completely normal question to ask in this situation. They then became flustered at my apparent audacity to question their mistake, and didn't answer. Logically, I asked again.
4 questions later of me asking why I had been overcharged, why the additional $5 would be charged if I wanted to be topped off, they finally and rudely admitted a small, medium, and large are the same price.
**Didn't you just say the opposite, Dutch Bros??
Logically, I then asked why I would be charged an additional $5 dollars if I want to be topped off for the small to apparently become a medium (another valid customer question, right?).
Finally, I was told ONLY 1 CAN of ***pre-made nitro cold brew is used in all sizes. The differences in pricing are toppings such as sweeteners, creamers, etc. That's it. The ice just gives the impression of more beverage, but as we all know is false.
**Dutch Bros does not serve fresh nitro cold brew. Instead, they purchase it in a can. When serving, they bang the can on the counter to activate the nitrogen. Pretty simple, right?
*Stop serving coffee from a can, Dutch Bros. Some of your competition does not and charges less for the same size nitro cold brew. You will continue losing customers if you continue serving this way, especially if you continue to be rude.
**Your customers can easily open a can and pour it into a cup for less than half the price you are charging - and with higher quality - making your products and services obsolete. Adapt accordingly, get off my lawn, and quiit being...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI usually dont have a bad expirence here. I rather come to this one that the one two mins from my house because its cleaner and usually alot faster but this time around i was left with a sour taste in my mouth with the bad service we encounter. They took my order and that when i heard the guy said i bet you they wont tip. And true to his statement i did not. I always go through the drive through and tip about half of the time. But dutch bros is a treat for me so sometimes i only have the money for the drink and not always for the tip. Dont blame me, blame the economy and homestly the tipping culture of this country. The moment i clicked no tip. The girl taking the order, stated to her co workers "i called it, i told yall". The statement that is always made is, tipping IS optional yet the staff felt some kind of way that i didnt give one. Not to mention that they were over there betting on it and because we did not tip, they went out of their way to make a point that we should. They took a way longer time than normal and i watch them make 2 other person order before starting on ours and they made no effort to make it correctly. It was made with less than normal syrup because it wasnt even sweet and by the time i got to about half of it it was so diluted with the ice that it didnt even taste good. And that normally only happens when its at the very end of the drink not halfway. I was mad at them at first but at this point whos to blame, what do they get paid that they feel the need...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām from Eugene, OR and have loved Dutch Bros for years and was so excited when I moved to Texas and found out that Dutch Bros had expanded here. My excitement soon turned to disappointment. As I was on my way to a birthday party on Sunday I decided to give them another try. Now I know baristas are busy and it was a busy day, but I watched as they made my iced coffee and couldnāt believe what they did.
First they almost used the wrong milk, then they poured the coffee and milk into the container before adding ice then added a good two inches of or more of whipped cream before realizing they hadnāt added the ice so they dumped a small amount of ice on top of the whipped cream and left off the caramel sauce I had requested. It was very hot that day and I was looking forward to a nice cold iced coffee. This was not it. I commented on it to the barista and they offered to remake it, but I was already running late and had to go. This picture was taken five minutes later. You can see how low much it went down. This is not the type of service received in Oregon and shouldnāt be received here.
This review is more of a plea for them to do better than a complaint. This is not the standard Dutch Bros...
