If you are a lover of plants like I am then you will definitely love this cute coffee shop/nursery! I happened to be passing by and saw the shop on my way home from the library. If I would have known there was a coffee shop that close to the library I would have walked over and read my books there. When I walked in I couldn’t believe the number of plants that were packed into the place! All kinds of potted delights await a plant lover and a variety of drinks await the coffee/ tea lover! Also, there is free Wi-Fi which makes it a good place for working and studying.
Other than the beautiful plants it is your typical coffee shop! There are a few tables and chairs to sit in the front of the shop and a sofa and a few accent chairs to sit in the back area of the shop. The rest of the space is filled with beautiful foliage from a host of different plants. There were two young ladies working on the day I went in and both were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I enjoyed looking at the plants and learning about them while I sipped my tea. My boys were equally as excited to look at all of the different plants. My youngest asked a bunch of questions and one of the young women had an answer for everyone, so it was also a learning experience for him!
Now on the the drinks, the coffee bar is located in back of the coffee shop to the right. There we quite a few drinks to choose from. I settled on the lavender matcha which was absolutely delicious! It wasn’t too sweet nor did matcha or lavender flavors overpower the drink, the flavors went well together and the oat milk made the drink smooth and creamy! I will definitely return in the future to try some more of their offerings and I might even get a...
Read moreUpdate in response to their reply: I had a genuine question about the product but was met with rude remarks that were very unappreciated. I wasn't upset we couldn't get the drink as the drinks on the regular menu looked fine, I was upset about the rudeness from the manager. I am standing by the decision to not try this place. We don't want to give money to a company with rude employees especially the manager. If that's how you treat someone with questions over the phone I can't imagine how you treat customers in person. There are too many great coffee shops out there who have friendly staff.
We saw a coffee drink on social media & I called to inquire about it. The first girl I spoke to didn't seem knowledgeable about their products at all and then I called back to talk to a manager regarding it & she was rude also. Their other drinks looked great despite that one not being available but due to the rudeness we will never be trying this place. Such a shame. We drove up to Frisco to try Coffee U & I highly recommend going there instead! Super friendly staff & amazing drinks. We would much rather drive farther for...
Read moreMe and my wife love this place. We especially love the matcha lattes or a sweet treat. We tried going last night with family and friends. It was pouring terribly. We realized it was near close. Which bad on us, but we knew exactly what we wanted as we are regulars. The women wouldn’t let us in not even to sit for a sec, while I went to get the car. My Father an elderly man had to wait under the umbrella of the store. I hate to be demanding, but with the floods in Texas as of recent and my family being affected this establishment upset us. Do better please the streets were visually flooded. We aren’t here to waste time we are here to bring business and be a community. Find humanity especially for elders.
Edit: The establishments response is also why we will not be returning. I never said it was closed. I said it was near. Disgusting. Guess I have too much spirit of Christ in me to understand your corporate language. Rules are put in for safety, I understand that. But there is a time to read the room. Thank you for your corporate...
