After a long night of walking. Some friends and I wanted to have some breakfast in the morning and we were exhausted and starving. We set our things down at the table and the managers I believe were having some sort of meeting in the lobby area. The manager leading the meeting walked over to us and very rudely told us that if we don't buy something now, then we are considered loitering and will need to leave. We obviously were planning on eating hints why we were even there in the first place. But to be so rude about it and pushy was ridiculous. Not only that multiple employees were going into the bathroom that was occupied and locked and had someone in there using tbw bathroom. And I'm guessing they thought that the person was in there too long or something but none of them knocked. They just put the code in and then kept going in and bothering the person in the restroom. When the person came out I asked him if the bathrooms were a single bathroom or stalls because the employees were not knocking and just walking in. And he told me that it was a single bathroom and they kept going into the bathroom he was in and harassing him. Usually this Wendy's is awesome. And I honestly was shocked the first time I ever came in here and seen how nice the workers are. And at one point one night I got stranded and my phone died and I needed somewhere to charge my phone and they allowed me to charge it which most places won't do anymore unless you have money to buy something. But the other day for some reason was not good customer service from them like I...
Read moreFirst I will start with the food was great and the service was great too. That's why you go right? But here's our experience to justify the 2 star rating: We ate in and had our 17 month old baby with us. Everything was very pleasant until my daughter needed a diaper change. My huge problem was with the ALL GENDER RESTROOMS. I went to the restroom to change my daughter as usual when we eat out. Both doors were LOCKED and said "All Gender Restroom". Ok great here we go...
I knocked and no one answered; but then coincidentally someone opened one of the doors and a man came out, he nicely held the door open for me to go in. I went in and the bathroom was foreign to me: a urinal inside and no baby changing table. (as a side note, I've never been to a fast-food chain that lacked a changing table.)
Next, I went to the front to ask if they had a changing table in the other restroom I was unable to enter. They said no and if you need in you need a key. Again, the staff was nice and helpful, no problems there except for the inconvenience of a key required for the restroom.
So in summary, Wendy's interest to be politically correct and have disturbing all gender friendly restrooms THEY FAIL TO BE FAMILY-FRIENDLY and at least include one simple changing table for your little one. Such a shame. Maybe in Portland, but please not here. We love Wendy's but will not be going back to this location because I can't do a simple...
Read moreFood was OK, but service is gross. Here's the thing, I get that it is just fast-food but I still expect that you treat your customers with respect and consideration. When we ordered our food in the drive-through (1-OCT, about 1pm) we asked if we had the salad and she said "yup, it's in there!" we got all the way back to the office and realized it wasn't there - and she didn't even ring up my sandwich. When I took the time to drive all the way back (while everyone else stayed at the office and ate lunch), the manager seemed irritated and didn't even apologize. Plus, she wanted to charge me for the sandwich that she forgot to ring up in the first place. I don't see how any of this would be considered a customer's fault... I waited at least 20 minutes while they made it; I mentioned at the end "you didn't even apologize for me having to come all the way back here", and she started in on some excuse and was very rude. I expect, for a global company like Wendy's, that you'd have a better sense of what a Manager should be - and she was not it. The brand new girl at the front was the only person to apologize to me - how is it that she was the only one (being brand new), who showed me some kindness and consideration? I sincerely hope that the Franchisee takes action in training this manager on how to handle a situation where the restaurant failed to deliver what a...
