Foxtail Coffee Co. - Hotel Melby — Restaurant in Melbourne

I ordered the most perfect cappuccino in Foxtail’s Hotel Melby location and when I found out that their other shoppe on Babcock has opened, I just had to come right away and order me one of my other favorites: an Iced Cafe Con Leche with condensed milk. It was absolutely delicious!!

But what made my experience wonderfully amazing was that I was coincidentally lucky to have a barista by the name of AJ serve me. To be able to have such a sweet, bright, and caring personality partnered with a simple yet authentic smile is such a delight to see because one can tell that he cares for you more as a customer but as a person.

A passerby coming to order their coffee and get on their way, he always asks how each person is doing or how their day is going out and one could tell that he genuinely listens to how they’re doing. He always makes sure to remember one’s name and as a customer leaves, he always waves goodbye and says, “Stay safe!” or “Have a good day!”. Simple words that most would say, however, these are words that he truly means well for others. To serve person after another person yet to still have the natural knack to genuinely bond and connect with each one he meets is a refreshing sight and wonderful sight to see.

Ladies and gentlemen, let me tell you, I may just order a cappuccino from time to time and an Iced Cafe Con Leche to treat myself but they make some REAL good Cafe Con Leche and cappuccino. The way they connect as a group and the baristas being their real authentic self is the reason why I’m going to keep coming to Foxtail. We just visited the Foxtail Coffee Co. shop in the New Melby hotel for the first time. We were looking forward to trying the coffee and got so much more than just coffee. We were welcomed so kindly by Lucy and Laz when we entered I had the cappuccino with lavender bitters and it was delightful. We also ordered a flat white and a cold brew to share! Lucy helped us get aquainted with the different products they have to offer while Laz made our beverages with care. I am definitely going to be getting a gallon or half gallon growler of cold brew to bring home in the future! Lucy explained the program and it seems like such a great value. Been going to Foxtail for years. Absolutely my favorite place for coffee in central Florida. This location on the other hand has consistently been bad for me. Taste completely different then any of the other locations I frequent around Orlando. I’m on the third time in a row, I come to Melbourne once or twice a month, that the espresso has a very bitter/acidic aftertaste and the oat milk taste bad. Most recently I had a latte with oat milk that the barista decided needed the entire bottle of vanilla without me asking for any additional flavor… I did not notice this until I was pretty far away, I would have had them re-make it, because it was too hot to try when I first got it. Very disappointed in this location’s quality. If there was ANYTHING other than $$bucks I would go...
