If I could choose zero stars I would !!!

WORST MEXICAN RESTAURANT IN THE ENTIRE MID-SOUTH ! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE First of all, the staff is incredibly rude! They were very hostile and aggressive. There was one nice employee named Linda that actually asked us nicely what was the issue. We ordered 3 orders of their chicken fajita nachos at 13.65 each. If you don't know what that is, it's a bed of tortilla chips topped with chicken followed by queso cheese dip. The consistency of the cheese was that of a very thick custard. The cheese was so thick and stiff when running our finger across the cheese it didn't even move. It was like one big thick clump of blob. Very gross. I almost vomited. We literally had 10 pcs of chicken on each order of nachos. We parked right out side the door so we took the food to the car and looked at it that's when we discovered how it was. We walked right back in, so 60 seconds total we were out of the restaurant. The to-go cashier that was up there I think is the rudest person I've ever come across in a professional setting in my entire life. I wish I would of copied her name but I didn't think to do so because I just wanted to get away from such unprofessional hostile individuals. The rude lady called the manager he wasn't rude but he didn't care at all. He was very nonchalant. We asked for a refund, however, they wouldn't do it because they said once you take food out of the restaurant they do not offer refunds. This is why I included a pic of the sign. So please if you still choose to go to this place check your food. That should tell you that they have a lot of complaints with to-go orders the fact they felt it necessary to put up a disclaimer. Please if you have a taste for Mexican cuisines ,want to enjoy your meal and get your monies worth plus good drinks I advise you to go to Happy Mexican were you'll actually be treated as a human being. Happy Mexican is also located downtown 385 South Second Street 38103 By the Silver Rights Museum...

If I could give it zero stars I would. We decided to try this location downtown in Memphis last Friday May 28th. It was our first time at this one and definitely the last time!! My husband and I were seated at the bar, ordered two drinks that were absolutely horrible and couldn’t be finished. Waiter dismissed it. Ordered fajitas for two and an appetizer and Small guacamole and queso. The waiter brings out huge bowls that we didn’t order, forgot about our appetizer and eventually brought it out extremely cold after bringing our fajitas that were cold. Trying to get his attention several times and was ignored because they were all just hanging out with each other and on their phones etc. Kindly asked after waving several times to get their attention to the two females working behind the bar if we could get help and was disrespected. Finally got our waiter’s attention to correct our order and speak to the manager and once again disrespected and no manager. After several more minutes we were brought the ticket and to go boxes for uneaten food but were credited our appetizer that he took away and visibly seen them eat. And again no manager and disrespected after saying why can we not talk to a manager and getting a $90 check for food that we didn’t order and was untouched. Rolled eyes and took my husband’s card out of his hands and another person brought it back. We were disrespected beyond disrespect. As we were leaving the so called security demanded to see and check our receipt to confirm we paid. Tried calling next day and still nothing! This establishment is horrible and will be...

I was so disrespected at this restaurant. My meal was wrong first off, but I was going to let that go. Our waiter never came back to offer refills or give us extra napkins (we had 1 napkin!), he came back to bring the check. This place is deceiving. My seat was so ripped it kept scratching my leg. The health and food inspection NEEDS TO GO IN THERE! Lastly, my husband is Mexican, and as I the waiter brought the check I said something about how my shrimp tacos were just crevice. He looked at my husband and began speaking Spanish. This continues throughout us getting to the register. A whole lot more happened (we wanted a to take our large queso home, which we don’t live in Memphis, he brings us a cup. The queso is on a plate and we picked it up and tried to pour it and I mean it went everywhere!!! So money left there. We just said forget it. Just leave it and I look up the waiter and manager are watching us - NO NAPKINS mind you.). We get to register to pay out and I said something about my tacos and service the manager says sorry that I feel that way then turns to my husband and speaks in Spanish. I said NO NO NO WAIT A MINUTE. I KNOW YOU ALL SPEAK ENGLISH! I’m right here. Don’t ignore me please. It was my meal messed up and that’s it?!

Truth be told the food is pitiful and nowhere near authentic. Memphians I’m so sorry that you have to eat here for Mexican cuisine. They hide behind a new banner and sign and their customer service is so poor that they need to have their mommas re-teach them how to...

Great service, decent food. Chips/Salsa super fresh and right out of the fryer, chips are thin and crispy, and salsa is served in a small pitcher and dish to pour into. Great flavor on salsa, not spicy, but adequate when you're hungry. Feels like you're in an authentic Mexican restaurant. Having the Chicken Enchiladas with their Special White Sauce was a good choice. White sauce has a unique, and slightly sweet taste. Tortillas were a bit tough, as with the chicken inside the enchiladas. Rice and beans were served on the side, beans should have been processed (blended) a bit less, so as to resemble beans yet. For those of you travelling, the Iced Tea served here is SWEET. Ask for NO SWEET if you don't want a blast of sweetness with every sip. Ratings here seem to be drawn down a bit by a few individuals that had a negative experience with something in their meal/drink. It appears someone was so disgruntled that she created a 2nd Google account just to rate this establishment. Since the primary language spoken here is Spanish, perhaps the staff misinterpreted her reason for complaining, and may have found it amusing. 4.0 is an adequate rating due to the toughness of the main entre, yet still wanting to re-visit to try their libations in an evening setting.
