My first experience here was amazing, which led me to come back and even bring a couple of people. My last couple of experiences were not good at all. I did not want to leave a review, but I wanted to try them one more time prior to not returning or giving them my business again. I visited with another friend, and I asked a simple question: ā Hey, can you tell/show me how the serving size is/comes. The African American guy with dreads serving me saysā¦what do you mean, I donāt get it. I asked again ālike the serving size for cupsāā¦he responds, I donāt know what youāre talking about, so I recount my last experience at this location. I briefly explained that when I first visited I had an amazing experience. I was served by a Caucasian woman who I believed to be the manager, and she ensured that we received what we ordered, and she was very kind to us. He immediately told me that there was no white woman who was the manager, and he said they fired her because she was giving away all of their ice cream, and he was not going to go away āthem peopleā ice cream like that. Confused as to why this young man is upset or bucking with his hands, I tell him last time we were there he served us a very very small amount of ice cream compared to our last experience and what we ordered. Realizing I was mistaken, I apologized since it was a different employee. I told him money was no object for us, and he said it was for him. For some reason this young man didnāt take the time to listen to what I was trying to express. As a customer, I thought I would be able to explain what previously happened in an attempt to prevent an identical situation. I told him I donāt think heās understanding me because what I mean is that we paid for extra ice cream, we even came back and bought extra and we did not receive the amount we paid for. He asked a young female to serve us, but after the bucking and bad attitude over something that could have and should have gone totally different, I wonāt be returning for the horrible customer service I experienced today. I honestly didnāt know if me and the guy were going to fight or notā¦smh. I was expecting a different outcome. Iām speaking from my personal experience though, Iām glad other people have had better experiences as their ice cream is...

I went in last night 30 minutes before they closed and you would think by the way they were acting that I had came in for service after their closing time. Their behavior made it very clear that I was a bother & an inconvenience for even coming in to order ice cream. Then on top of that, they had shut down mostly everything & put all the toppings up already as if it was already their closing time so they didnāt give me an option on selecting any toppings that were supposed to be available. When I asked if I could get strawberries and marshmallows mixed in my ice cream, the lady that was servicing me told me that I couldnāt because they had already turned the slab off and put those toppings up already. The whole point of me coming there was to get toppings mixed in with my ice cream. I could have just gotten ice cream from anywhere if I had known this was going to be the way my experience turned out...You would think that with where this store is located & with their prices you would get at least DECENT service & not be treated like a bother to the employees who are clearly just āready to go home and be done...

This was our first time in Memphis and at this establishment, I will never go back. Customer service is a MUST! I have worked in the restaurant business for a looooong time and still work in customer service and it would not have gone well if I was as rude to my customers as the staff here was. The girl at the register was sweet, however the two staff members scooping the ice cream were very unpleasant. I decided to only get a plain chocolate shake because I felt so rushed, which for a pregnant lady, was not really what I wanted. We had our two year old , who is obviously indecisive since she is young, and the staff made us feel it was inconvenient that they had to wait for her to decide what she wanted. They just asked us āwhat do you want?ā and āthat it?!ā After every item we ordered... they were very short and acted like they did not want to be there.
