A Warm Welcome and an Impressive Beer Selection at The Flying Saucer Emporium** Our visit to The Flying Saucer Emporium in Memphis was a delightful respite on a particularly hot Friday afternoon. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately made us feel at home. The staff, including the bartender, was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, ensuring we felt comfortable throughout our visit. The owner, I believe, was also very engaging and shared a bit of the story behind the establishment, which added a personal touch to the experience. The decor is truly a spectacle—walls adorned with a vast collection of over 200 beer coasters from around the world, creating a visually captivating environment that any beer enthusiast would find fascinating. While the bar offers an extensive selection of domestic beers and craft brews, please note that the establishment does not serve spirits or liquors. For those interested in beer, The Flying Saucer provides an impressive range of options, and they frequently feature specials such as half-price happy hours, including $5 beers at specific times—perfect for those looking to enjoy a quality drink without breaking the bank. They also host various weekend events, which are worth checking out for both locals and visitors alike. Although I personally am not a beer connoisseur, I can confidently recommend The Flying Saucer Emporium as a must-visit spot for beer lovers visiting Memphis. Its unique decor, friendly staff, and outstanding selection make it a memorable stop on any outing.

What a burger! They have a challenge of two burgers and the bodacious burger was one of the best burgers I have ever had since I moved here. The place was awesome with all the different plates as well as the plates you can get if you do the 200 plus. We was the first ones there Sunday and thought it would be quicker then usual. Well service was slow and like I said we was the only ones there so we couldn't understand that. Other then the slow service the food definitely made up for it. Will be back that's for sure. I would have given it a 4 star review because of the service but I cant get over how good the burger was so a 5 all day long. If your in the area I suggest to go. Trust me you will not be disappointed. Update the burger was just for a limited amount of time. Went back and they no longer had it. Bring it back permanent please!!!!!!

My husband and I checked out the Saucer for the first time since it has been renovated. I'm happy to report the outdated "Catholic School Girl" uniforms are a thing of the past, as well as the funky smell that haunted this bar for the last few years. They've done a nice update throughout the bar. There are now booths in the dining area, more TVs and new high top tables. The pool table is gone and the dart boards have been moved to another area. The menu has changed slightly: They've added more burgers and have done away with their pizzas. It also looks like they're trying to bring live music back to the Saucer - which is nice since they're so close to Beale street. Overall, the renovation has brought good changes, but the bathrooms are still gross.

Nice theme I love outer space the planets constellation and planetariums...I don't like the bar scene in Star Wars...I think the other people in the Saucer that night were auditioning. .Non caring jerks I almost died from the Chili Dip ...A pricey night for unsweetened tea with ice and Splenda a Garden Salad a rude inauthentic doctor and ignorant but polite waitress and a nasty can of pepper spray...gotta hate Memphis and it's hospitality unless of course your drunk enough to put Gators in the Peabody and free the Ducks ..This City caters to the sick kids and a questionable cause drug and alcoholic sperm and egg....Illegal drugs and even legal ones along with a few hundred beersa month will fill St Jude's....who gets the bill. We all do...special ed ...research on rare diseases that really don't matter and of course the 3 normal kids in the house feel guilty for being normal so they may drug up or drink or drive drunk and get ugly in an avoidable accident ..The Saucer flying or not hasn't done anything to be polite....Do they have an epi pen behind the bar or just Narcan.....I hate I...

A co-worker, an out of town friend, and I came here last night for our friend’s last night in Memphis. Food was okay. Service was not the best. We sat ourselves at a table near the bar. it was not busy at all, yet it took about 15 minutes of us sitting there unattended before I had to let the bartender know that a server had not been to our table (yet other people with other servers were getting taken care of). Finally a server comes over, takes orders, we eventually get our drinks and our food, all good. We were never checked on for refills of our drinks through our whole meal. nor did she pass our table for us to even ask for them. (I had to go ask the bartender for those too because our server just never checked on our table. Keep in mind, I did not see our server working with any other tables and the restaurant was not busy at this point.) The one star is for the bartender who was more of a server to us than our...
