Sam's Main Street Eatery — Restaurant in Memphis

this place has the best lunch ever I was really impressed with the meal and the menu and I go there at least once a week my name is Malcolm x I'm from California and I believe that this place has the best lunch in the city you should really check them out they're really good I'm at the cookout right now burgers barbecue and hot dogs & shakes they have the best milkshakes ever thick and it's really a nice crowd I'm off of Union across from the liquor store the Kimbrough towers is some apartments that I thought about living in but they really don't have a gated security so it's not the place for me but the cookout is really good place to they have late-night it's approximately 1:48 a.m. like in California right now it would be I guess 1 11:48 p.m. so stuff would still be open but anyway this place off Union called the cookout it's really good but Sam's main Street eatery downtown they have the best lunch ever I think they serve soup as well the soup of the day and stuff like that this license...

I use to love the old location. The employees were nice and the food was decent for the price. The new location is garbage. The lady taking orders was extremely RUDE!!! I wish I knew her name, I swear I would make it public! She asked for my order and when I opened my mouth to give it to her, she walked away from me. And stayed away for at least 20 seconds. I almost walked out, but I decided to at least try the food. If it's as bad as their service, I definitely won't be back.

UPDATE: The food was bad!!! I ordered a chilli dog on this particular visit. Needless to say it was not good at all. The hot dog was tough and the chilli was flavorless. Seriously, it was almost inedible!!! I have not been back and will never order anything from this...

Well for starters the initial greet coming into the restaurant.. there wasn’t one, when I asked about my online order a man with broken English told me rudely my order wasn’t ready.. (by the way it took almost 30 min for a small pizza & small fry.. I preceded to inquire where the bathroom was by another employee there and I was told I had to get a key from the owner to access it.. there wasn’t any soap in the bathroom which was scary thinking about in so many ways of how their employee would wash their hands. Chairs were still stacked on tables like they weren’t open,and tables were filthy.. parking was around the corner by a hotel and good luck on not getting harassed by the homeless people before getting to your destination.....
