I get my room, and head out , and when we return. The hot water wouldn't even work in the shower. I was already hesitant because I told her if she needed me to come back I would. I just didn't want them to give my hotel away like the did at Budget rent a car.She said no it will be ready in 10 minutes. I waited like 15 minutes, and then she let me check inn. We go to the room, and the door is open and the person cleaning it in in another room and she was like oh I just need to mop it. So we had to wait for that, and walk on the wet floor carefully. Then when we came back the whole thing with the hot water, and their was water in the bathtub, and I had to stick my hand in there to let it out. Ughhhhh And then I went down the hall to ask them about the hot water they say this happens often, and then I guy playing on the computer or whatever worked there, and she told him to come to the room after I waited for about 5 to 10 minutes. He wasn't even working. He was off. I went back to the room, and the hot water was working. I don't think he did anything. Like I said she said it happens sometimes. And then I seen rat in the parking garage, but I guess that is expected. Their was a pile of garbage in the garbage can next to my car where I parked. I decided not to even eat the free buffet in the morning. It didn't seem to clean, and it was just to much going on . This room was NOT WORTH ALMOST 300.00. I THINK I should be compensated or...
Read moreI was in town for 4 days for a business trip. This hotel was wonderful! They are in the middle of a remodel however what had been completed was beautiful! Our room overlooked the Mississippi River and had a spectacular view. We took advantage of the trolley system and used it to get all over downtown. The front desk staff was amazing and the security guard even walked us to our cars when we asked him. The entire staff was great at giving directions and guiding us around town. The hot breakfast was tasty and there was a huge selection. While we were eating breakfast, some of the staff would walk around the dining area and ask how our meal was or if we needed anything. There are 15 floors in the hotel (actually only 14, they don't have a 13th floor) and they have a pool and a exercise room on the 9th floor. The beds were very comfortable and the fridge and microwave were a nice addition to the room. There were only a couple of things that were shortcomings for our trip.....the water pressure in the shower was very weak, and we had to turn the shower head to the 'massaging' feature just to get enough pressure built up to get the shampoo out of our hair....and the toilet sat very low to the ground. My mother was with me on the trip and has bad knees and really needs a higher toilet...if those two things would have been different, I would have no problem giving this...
Read moreextreme dissatisfaction with my recent stay and I believe it is important to bring some serious concerns to your attention. disappointed to discover the depressing condition of the room I had just been charged, the full amount for, which was also significantly higher than the normal rates! The room was old and though I appreciate the attempt of fresh paint which left the closet door stuck to the wall, overall it showed signs of neglect, with spider webs in every window, a layer of dust in the carpet which I'm sure agitated a cough all week and an overall lack of thorough cleanliness. Despite daily housekeeping visits, the room remained in a substandard state throughout my entire week-long stay. The most alarming issue was the persistent dirt and hair stain that remained on the base of the toilet, that I'm confident you'll still find in room 1110. I find it unacceptable that such hygiene concerns were not promptly addressed, jeopardizing the health and safety of your guests. As a paying customer, I feel it is my right to expect a certain standard of cleanliness and comfort when staying at Comfort Inn. Regrettably, my recent experience has left me thoroughly disappointed and disgusted. Considering the conditions I endured during my stay, I believe it is fair to request a refund of my payment.
