My husband and I came to this restaurant 3-4 times a week when they first opened their doors, and the service AND food USED TO BE phenomenal. We were normally greeted with a smile and immediately seated and served, food always came out fresh, and we always had a good experience! When it was just the owner and a cook working, it was great! Boy has the service declined.
We hadn’t been here in a few months and decided to go back yesterday. We were the only people there at the time and the service REALLY sucked. When we arrived, the employees stared at us like we shouldn’t have been coming inside, and it took a while to be seated although no one else was there. The server had an attitude the entire time, she didn’t bring ranch with our appetizer, she didn’t check on us once after she brought our food, she didn’t offer us refills, and she didn’t bring us our ticket.
By the time we were about to leave, a lot of people came in ordering to-go orders. We paid for our ticket and asked for to-go drinks since we weren’t offered a refill with our meal. The woman who was our server told us we had to wait until the entire line of people (about 10 people were waiting) placing orders were done ordering before she could get our drinks (although she was literally just standing there and another employee was taking their orders), so we ended up standing there for 5 minutes waiting on two drinks and standing in the way of the customers who were coming in to order to-go. It ended up becoming so hectic in their lobby area that we decided to leave without the drinks. Service was extremely trash, food wasn’t as good as it used to be when they first opened, and to me, it wasn’t worth us paying $40 for attitude, mediocre food, and bad service. Why were our fries COLD when we were the only ones inside and the food is said to be cooked to order?
We decided that we’re never going back, which sucks since we were some of their original customers and thought we’d found a gem with awesome food and service. This company should DEFINITELY invest in better customer service and people who want to do their jobs. Just because you have good food doesn’t mean your service can slack. Waited 30 minutes for our order to be taken in which I had to raise my voice to get the waiter attention who kept walking right past us. They quickly served ppl at the bar who walked in after us my boyfriend walked up to the bar hoping to get someone attention but kept getting ignored by the waiter. After i finally got the waiter attention he said he have to tell someone else to take our order for whatever reason and proceeded to walk back and forth around the restaurant. Another 10 minutes go by and I had to tell the lady who sat us down that we still didn’t order our food she was surprised so that indicated that the waiter never informed her we were still waiting. She finally took our order didn’t offer anything for our time being waisted and we had to wait almost 15 minutes for a mimosa that was very warm once we got it.
