I went to Qahwa 4 times since it's very close to work. I wanted to try 4 different beverages and really truly wanted to make this my regular coffee shop (over the Starbucks down the street), since the impact of supporting local businesses is much greater than corporations on the local economy.
The specialty beverages are good. (think lattes and mochas). They are pricy but on par with that of competitors.
The plain coffee (my drink of choice) is not special. Better coffee can easily be made at home. The final attempt was cold brew. Taste wasn't good but the quantity given was just awful. Read moreFirst week in the memphis city and I am so glad I found this place ! I will come back to this cozy, welcoming cafe every time i am in the area! Loved this new spot !!! I have always wanted to go to a real cafe like this. No offense to my beloved starbucks but... Starbucks has NOTHING...

It was mocha and coconut and so good. I'd be hard pressed to try something else on the menu. I've never had nitro coffee so maybe I'll try. Oh, the croissant with chicken salad was really good too. I hate big chunks of celery so it was right up my alley. I almost wish I had someone to play chess with as they had a nice set up for that...
