FRAUDULENT BUSINESS PRACTICES- BEWARE !
DISCLAIMER & FULL DISCLOSURE: This review being placed with permission from business owner, proprietor/operator, an individual by the name of DIEGO. This individual also authorized that we contact our credit card company and request charge back.
STATE, COUNTY & CITY TAXES for the Miami Beach area are 6+1% not 10% as you can see in bill. This will be addressed with Florida Dept. of Consumer Services and all regulatory (local licensing ) agencies.
The business decided to TIP themselves an additional $13.21 (on top of my already generous $10.00 gratuity.
Please keep in mind that our breakfast consisted of a $13 egg dish, a $13 acai bowl, and $16 toast egg combo. This does not add up to $104.00 we ordered a donut that was $5.00, a coffee THAT THEY REFUSED TO REFILL and juice.
No clue how they feel that a $100.00+ breakfast is reasonable. WE'VE Had breakfast at RITZ CARLTON and FOUR SEASONS for that amount. The BURJ AL ARAB (7 STAR HOTEL) in Dubai was $298 and included Hermes fragrances as gifts.
It's a shame that the owners are rude, nasty and unprofessional. I'm not sure if they are from Argetina or another region of Latin America. Their lack of care, diplomacy and professionalism shows that the customer comes LAST. I was very patient in placing 4 calls to the business before finally reaching management. The attitude and nasty demeanor of the owner was shocking.
Further investigation into this business will take place starting today. Let's look into their inspections, sanitization reports and taxes. I will be in touch with state regulatory agencies including local licensing agencies and the Florida Dept of consumer services, DBPR, FL Dept of financial services and DOH. All of this could have been avoided if they had cleared their mind, done what was right, and billed me the correct amount ($70.51 plus $10 tip) oh well, maybe one day they learn or shut down and open another business SCAMMING others. Sad given that the food quality, temperature, taste was decent and their donut selection is impressive. Please note that there are discrepancies with the business name too. They operate as Broken eggS cafe but bill under Pink Love Miami (donuts) my attorney (wife) can figure out what they are hiding.

Read moreCame on a Sunday at 11:30am. The atmosphere is super casual and pink. They were a bit overwhelmed when we arrived (all tables were full and a short wait) and there were at least two servers who were brand new, one of which we got. They compensated by having multiple servers and the owner check up on us to make sure we were able to get our orders in. The drinks (2 lateés and a fresh squeezed oj's) came fast. The food felt a little slow, but that could have been because we were all pretty hungry.
The food was surprisingly good; surprising because this is a breakfast spot that was added on to a fancy doughnut spot called Pink Love Doughnuts.
The Huevos Rancheros were the best I have ever had. For me that means that they were wet, but no one ingredient overpowered another; a perfect balance of flavors and textures. My daughter (11yo) enjoyed her Açai bowl, finishing the entire thing. My wife's eggs were cooked perfectly over medium (something we have found somewhat difficult to find) and her home fries were lightly flavored with a very subtle heat that hit the back of the tongue after a few seconds.
We also felt that the portions and food quality matched the pricing...we will be back.
Note to the people complaining about the fees, charges, and taxes.
The "Tax" you are complaining about is listed on the check as "tax and fees". I can only guess, but the fees could be there to cover any number of expenses from inflation to rent, something I can attest is brutal for us brick and mortar business owners.
The 18% service charge is both listed on the check before the place to tip and are all but standard on Miami Beach. The main reason is that many of the lovely tourists who visit here do not understand how tipping works in our country so the vast majority of restaurants on the beach must...
Read moreEverything seemed promising when we first arrived we sat down and ordered the creme brûlée French toast and the Philly bowl(without peppers and onions). They then inform us that they cannot take the peppers and onions out because they come with the potatoes. This tells me it’s either a frozen mix they microwave and serve or they are too lazy to make fresh breakfast potatoes. We tell them we’ll just take the French toast and share it. When the French toast comes out it looks decent but notice it is missing some toppings the pictures and the menu says it comes with. We were mainly just concerned about the berry compote it says it comes with. When I go inside to inquire about it the staff looks confused. I grab the picture menu and show them where you can see the berry compote drizzled on it. Their response was “those pictures are just advertisements and for show” I respond “so the food you serve doesn’t match what you advertise” they are silent in return. I then pull the menu over that describes the dishes and I say “it says right here berry compote” the staff looks at both menus and then just kinda looks at me and I say “so is that something you have could I get a side of it” At this moment I think it’s starting to click in their brains they then bring out a dish of strawberry syrup. 🤷🏻♀️
Overall the French toast tasted fine but it is kinda hard to mess up French toast so I don’t give them much credit for that. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone for a restaurant maybe just for the donuts. Don’t waste your time, there is so many other places to eat in Miami and I promise you’re not missing anything special by skipping out on this one especially...
