Park Royal Miami Beach — Hotel in Miami Beach

I feel cheated, this motel is ridiculous. I made my reservation for 4 people, my husband and I arrived first on Thursday, the other people arrived on Saturday. The first night we slept well, it should be noted that we arrived at 1am on Thursday (check-in). The next day we got up and went to spend our day on vacation when we returned in the afternoon the room was hot the air in the room did not work we reported it they sent someone to fix it, but it stopped working again in the middle of the night, we had to sleep in the living room on the sofa bed because it was where the air worked. the sofa bed mattress was terrible! It was not for a human being to sleep the wires felt like there was no cushion at all! Even piercing the skin, they provided us with a top cushion the next day and that helped me spend the next night better, because the air was not fixed so the next day and they did not offer us to change Room until it was confirmed not working again that night. Way too late for us to pack all our belongings and move to another room for 1 more night. We had to send our friends home because the 4 of us had no way to be at the hotel. We had so many inconveniences that we had to leave on Saturday because it was impossible to spend another night of our vacation ruined by the place we made the complaint and they did not return us even the first part of the expenses we incurred. It should be noted that we are members of Royal. PLEASE DON’T FALL INTO THE TRAP OF THESE HOTELS. THEY PROMISE GOOD SERVICE UNTIL YOU ARE A MEMBER AND THEN EVERYTHING BECOMES A HEADACHE. The floors were dirty. The sheets were dirty, with itching and bad smell. We had a deposit of 150 dollars that we were not aware of. There were tax rates of $50. The ridiculous cleaning team. WE DON’T RECOMMEND IT AT ALL. RUINED VACATIONS WITH HOW DIFFICULT IT IS TO COORDINATE A VACATION OF MONTHS AND THEN HAVING TO GO THROUGH SO MANY...

Dear Park Royal staff, We had such a nice stay at Park Royal! The rooms were much nicer than I expected, with a nice layout lots of natural light, simple clean furniture. The patio was very nice and peaceful, big enough to hang out on too. It had a decent view and got a lot of nice sun, even though it was on facing another building. Location was GREAT! It was only a 20 minute trolly ride from south beach (free), and a block away from the beach (where they provide beach chair). Restaurants and grocery stores are also only a block or two away which is ideal for longer stays or family vacations. Furthermore, northbeach, we found, was much easier to get a lyft into Miami than south beach!

Secondly, and more importantly, all the staff were very nice and accommodating! They helped us our last day by calling a cab. This cab driver was the only reason we were able to make out flight! We hadn't realized how long it was going to take for an uber to arrive at us (keep this in mind when going to the airport), and if it weren't for the cab driver I don't think we would have made it home. Not only did the driver make it to us before any Lyft or Uber, but he knew we were in a hurry and really did all that he could to get us to the airport as quickly as possible! I was so anxious and stressed that I didn't make my appreciation known at the time. But I am truly so so thankful for his efforts and compassion! I feel terrible that I wasn't more vocal at the time, and just want the park royal staff to know how amazing their help was in this process and how incredibly helpful and grateful we are to this cab driver. And thank you again for everything, we are definitely looking forward to staying here...

Let me get the good points out first (not many btw) LOCATION this is a very accesible hotel, very close to the beach while not being actually on the beach, PUBLIX, Pizza and nearby restaurant at a stone throw away. Pool is nice and heated. Carlos is the best employee they have. That’s the only good here we go with the bad.

If you plan to have a rental car be prepared to not park at the hotel as it’s not included and it’s at a ridiculous rate per day (cheaper to park on the street)

If you plan to rest please stay somewhere else as the bed is ROCK HARD and the Sofa Bed is so clapped out you feel the springs poke you everywhere. I ended up sleeping on the floor ontop of the sofa cushions.

Remember that nice pool yeah you won’t enjoy it much because guess what they close early.

Need an extra pillow or bed sheet yeah don’t bother going to the lobby as they don’t have any extra, need a towel for your bathroom yeah guess what they don’t have one either.

Don’t bother asking BELKIS for anything because she will just put on a big scowl of a face as she hates her job (and I think she does) and will be of no help.
