Two years later and still an excellent establishment.
“Very nice experience. I have been wanting to go to this sweet little place since it opened, but hasn’t had the chance. Suffice to say, it was worth the wait, because the food was elegant, refreshing, light and well presented. Thought has been placed into all the small details and that’s what it takes to be good in this industry.
We started with a salad that was unlike any I’ve had previously. We then shared a Gnocchi Special that had a Radicchio Sauce with Straciatella. We then shared the Baked Eggplant. We finished with the Mango Cheescake. Every single plate had an unexpected aspect to it. It was a beautiful interpretation of Italian Cooking. Plain and Simple there is passion here.
The plates, the glassware, the counter top and the fixtures. Very attractive and not over the top. The server Giuseppe was very attentive and friendly.
I’m excited to have this in town. I highly recommend and can’t...
Read moreStopped in for dinner, as it was close to our hotel. Was immediately greeted and seated.
Our "server" may have been the owner or manager as the cook referred to him as "boss." He was extremely engaging and entertaining. Gave in-depth advice on the menu items, as well as off-menu items they had available.
Could literally watch the cook prepare our appetizer and dishes, from beyond the counter. It was nice being able to actually see the food in progress, instead of hidden "in the back."
Food was delicious, plated beautifully, and extremely filling. My Ribeye steak and brussel sprouts were cooked to perfection. My wife's white lasagna was equally delicious.
Temperature and humidity were a bit uncomfortable for my liking. But, I'm a bigger guy, the kitchen was right nearby, and it's Miami. So the heat and humidity are kinda what you sign up for.
Overall an amazing experience, if you're looking for some delicious Italian food along...
Read moreThis review is based on delivery. The food took approximately 5-10 minutes to be delivered, so, I don’t think the food had much time to change in quality/flavor in such short period of time. The fried pizza is awful, the tomato sauce tasted like bland boiled tomatoes with some unremarkable cheese. The Bucatini all’Amatriciana, I cannot even describe the many things wrong with this dish. The pork-cut used, which of course was definitely not guanciale lacked the crispiness, and was on the soggy side. The tomato sauce again, indescribably awful, seriously what’s going on with that sauce? The pasta was perfectly cook. Sadly it was not tasty. Finally, the tiramisu was very eggy, not sure if they tempered the eggs in the recipe or not, but this was not a delicious mascarpone cream, there was a strong egg-yolk after taste that was not right. The whole thing was truly...
