Amended Review:
To clarify your response to my original review, I would like to point out several inaccuracies:
You claimed I am not a customer. This is false. Over the years, I have had several pieces of jewelry repaired at your shop, you also made me a custom-made silver ring. If by ânot a customerâ you mean that I donât spend $10,000â$50,000 on a chain or watch, then fineâbut to suggest Iâve never done business with you is simply untrue.
I came in specifically to have the lume replaced on my Rolex Submariner. I brought the part with me. The job required fastening it with resin or silicone to secure the pearl onto the bezelânothing more. The watchmaker said he would do it for $20. At no point did I ask him to open my watch. My model requires the bezel to be carefully aligned with points on the case, not just popped off. Instead, he forced it and snapped the bolts holding the bezel in place. The repair ultimately cost me $600 elsewhere.
Your staff later claimed the watchmaker said the bezel had been âheld down by dirt and grease.â This makes no sense. The bezel was already functioning properlyâit clicked and rotated smoothly. To suggest that a fully functional bezel was somehow being held together by dirt is absurd.
Regarding reviews: I have written only five or six in my life, always reserved for when Iâve had a truly terrible experience. Calling me a âserial complainerâ is completely false. Before leaving this review, I even sent you an email with photos and a clear explanation of what happened. The watchmaker spoke no English, and nobody ever responded to me.
While I do not have the time to pursue small claims court, my review stands as a warning to others. It seems clear you only value customers who spend tens of thousands of dollars, which is extremely disappointing.
The irony here is that your shop is next to a store selling drug paraphernalia and a barber offering $8 haircuts. This isnât Bal Harbour. If it were, nobody in the neighborhood would use you. So donât be angry at the middle-aged guy who rides his bicycle past your place for telling the truth.
This was a $15,000 Rolex. The outcome of this repair was unacceptable, and I am deeply disappointed with how it...
Read moreHad my gold chain serviced here a few years back due to a broken link. Found out a few years down the line that the clasp was replaced with a gold plated clasp which is now completely black. Owned the chain for 15 years and never saw any discoloration or any other nonsense. This chain has only been in my possession around my neck and never touched nor cleaned by any other Jewler. Tried to call the store multiple times with no answer and the phone hanging up immediately. Please be careful when handing over your Jewlery here and take detailed photos. I would like a refund for this ridiculous procedure.
Update: called one of the owners (which I was advised to do), in which was cursed at about 20 times writhin the first 5 seconds, and aggressively asked me to come in face to face like a âmanâ like he wanted to fight. Mind blowing, unprofessional, and violent. Think logically before you threaten someone over a claspâŚ. Wasnât asking for a new chain. This guys willing to lose business over a clasp and not even ask any details. Told me I was a scammer just looking for money. Felt like I was calling the mafia. Luckily for my safety and others I...
Read moreFirst time buyer and wow I canât say enough about the staff. Davide helped me out for a huge buy and made me feel comfortable and safe purchasing from them. The quality of craftsmanship is STUNNING but more importantly the urgency and customer service he provided was even more impressive. I live in Dallas with tons of jewelry stores and I would absolutely recommend purchasing from them whether you live in Miami or out of state. Within 20 mins of a bank wire he FaceTimed me with the full packaging of my order and updated me during the process of me receiving it the next morning. Extremely happy and will be buying...
