Brandon the “owner” of his father’s kava bar Elixir entered our beloved kava community in South Beach, pоisоn and tainted it with his rude, disrespectful and arrogant behavior towards the community and his father’s loyal customers. To him customers are just dollar signs and not by any means a part of a kind and loving community. Disrespect, liеs and drama have no place in our kava community and that is the reason MANY locals refuse to spend their hard earned money at this particular kava bar. All the owners and employees are great but when you put a rotten apple next to good apples… Negative vibes, overpriced drinks and requests for customers to Zеllе for their tab instead of paying through the terminal is definitely some shady business - DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I visited this bar today when it opened at 10am. A few kava bars came up when I googled in the local area but I picked this one based on reviews and I wasn’t disappointed. The staff were brilliant. I’m travelling alone and don’t have much experience with kava/Kratom aside from some murky sludge I tried in Thailand, so I needed a bit of guidance. Brandon and the French guy (so sorry, I don’t know your name!) were amazing, advised me what to try and even gave me samples.

The whole vibe of this place was great and it’s so well set out with a beautiful outside seating area. I chatted to staff and customers and ended up spending over 2 hours there! Elixir Kava Bar’s new location is bright, welcoming, and the perfect mix of chill and community. It’s family-owned, and you can feel that warmth the second you walk in. The kava-tenders (Erm, Brandon, , Carlos, Rigo & Carola)are not only incredibly knowledgeable about their offerings, but they also have a gift for curating just the right playlist to fit the mood — whether you’re deep into a work session or winding down in good conversation.
