From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Armando, who radiated warmth and genuine hospitality. It wasn’t just us — everyone who approached the restaurant received the same friendly, welcoming treatment. He wasn’t only managing the front; he was everywhere — helping seat guests, delivering dishes, and making sure everything flowed perfectly. You could tell he takes real pride in what he does.
We started the evening with cocktails at the bar — I highly recommend the Tropezone Negroni, paired with their complimentary almonds and olives. It set the tone beautifully for the night.
When we moved to our table, our server K♥ (yes, that’s how he signed his name — love it!) was outstanding. He was friendly, engaging, and gave great suggestions without ever rushing us. His energy and attentiveness made the whole experience feel effortless and personal.
For food, the Pan con Tomate is an absolute must — simple but done to perfection. The Dates and Mushrooms were also incredible, and the half portion of Paella was just the right size to share and packed with flavor. Everything was fresh, balanced, and beautifully presented.
As a local Miamian, it’s rare to find a spot in this area that delivers both quality food and exceptional service without pretense. Tropezone stands out — it’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back and bring friends.
Highly recommend whether you’re a local or visiting from out of town — this place is...
Read moreThe shorter younger bartender started our night off wonderfully! He made us house drinks that were delicious (and we paid for them so beware of they’re off the menu). But we enjoyed them. There’s a huge selection of gin drinks! We moved to a table and decided to eat. We had the salad which was delicious! It went downhill from there. The drinks the bigger older bartender made we did not enjoy but maybe we weren’t steered in the right direction by the waiter this time and it may have been our error in ordering. However when I tried to explain what the previous bartender had made who had left to this bartender, he told me to tell my server and not him about my request to have a different drink. He seemed like he didn’t enjoy his job as much as the younger smaller bartender who took an interest in what we wanted. The gambas had no flavor and was sitting in oil. No garlic no anything. We asked for hot sauce and they brought something with a little more flavor but not hot. We shared the duck paella which was also bland but the duck was cooked well. I’ve been to Spain 4 different times over the last 25 years and the food had a lot more flavor so I know it’s possible. There’s just too many good restaurants to go...
Read moreThe flavor-infused gins brought me back and I'm glad they did! This time, we enjoyed every single dish we ordered: tortilla española, escalivada (eggplant), chicken (with swiss chard), and of course all our gin cocktails!
Maybe the last time was an off night 🙂. New favorite restaurant.

2022: The restaurant itself was cute, but most dishes were too salty for my liking. They recommend family/tapas style, which adds up very quickly. The best part of the restaurant were their infused gins! They have so many different flavors: banana butter (yes, that is one flavor 🙂), strawberry, saffron, olive oil! They offer a cocktail list with these gins, but you can also order classic gin cocktails and sub for one of the infused flavored gins. I ordered a strawberry infused bees knees and it was so good, you could definitely taste the strawberry. We also tried the banana butter bees knees but they served it differently, with a large ice cube and mint. SO tasty and the mint really enhanced the flavor. While those two were delicious, the favorite of the table was the coconut infused gin gimlet. We'll certainly be back for...
