This place is awful. The food was mediocre and the service was the absolute worse. Walked in and asked if it’s set yourself. Walked in at the same time as three other couples were told to seat ourselves. The waitress continued to clean a table that no one was waiting for. Never brought any of the us menus. Walked up and got them ourselves tried to order at the counter and were told no the server would be right with us. By now two other tables walked in. The sever finally started taking orders not in the order we came in. Going directly to the newest people first. One table actually left because it was taking so long. When the server finally took our order no greetings or hellos no smile just, “what you want?” We ordered took 10 minutes for black coffee another 10 minutes for a mimosa and 30 minutes for food. The server never came back to check on us ask if the food was okay , we were missing some of order but at that point wasn’t worth waving her down. We waited for a check to come that never did. Finally walked up to the counter to pay see that we were charged for the items we never received and had to get them removed which seem to take another 5 minutes. After all was said and done spent around $60 for a meal that was forgettable and service was awful. I don’t recommended unless you have lots of time to kill and don’t...
Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at Maddas Place this past Saturday with three of my coworkers during our attendance at the ATA conference at the nearby Hyatt hotel. The convenience of it being within walking distance from our conference space made it an ideal choice for our lunch break.
The short walk to the restaurant was a delight in itself, as it led us into a charming and welcoming environment. Maddas Place's interior was spacious, inviting, and immaculately clean, setting the stage for an enjoyable dining experience. We were pleasantly surprised to find a large Jenga game, which was quite tempting, although we didn't get a chance to play.
For my meal, I was initially drawn to the French toast, but the waitress's recommendation led me to try the salmon croissant sandwich. I must say, it was a visually appetizing dish that did not disappoint. The food was not only visually appealing but also scrumptious, making our time at Maddas Place all the more enjoyable. It's evident that they take pride in creating a great environment for their patrons. I would highly recommend Maddas Place for a satisfying meal in a...
Read moreMadda's Place is a GEM in the heart of downtown Miami. We heard great things so we wanted to check it out for ourselves. Let's just say it was well worth the drive from Fort Lauderdale. The ambiance is fantastic, the staff is extremely friendly, and the food is absolutely incredible.
The menu has something for everyone. We had the Burrata Omelette, Chicken Flatbread, Pesto Salmon, Chicken Parm, and the Bolognese. Everything was delicious, including the Iced Signature Coffee!
The other thing we love is the prices are VERY, VERY reasonable. You can walk a few blocks away and order something similar and it will be 2-3x more expensive and nowhere near the quality of food.
We parked in the garage at the Miami Tower. It's a whopping 1/2 block away and only cost us $10. It was a Sunday but still $30-$40 cheaper than parking on the street or an outside lot.
We'll definitely be coming back again soon. Thank you for the awesome experience!
Do yourself a favor and check Madda's Place out. You won't...
