Miami’s best kept Italian fusion secret! This place is a hidden pearl in a sea filled with so many duds … it’s a pearl gem of a place !
I had the pleasure of visiting and experiencing this beautiful little beautiful restaurant this evening and I was incredibly amazed by the authenticity. This hidden place was incredible the vibe and the atmosphere is so romantic. I would take anyone on a first second or hundredth date to this spot. It is very beautiful the lighting decor and everything screams unique and romantic.
The mini lights on every table is so cute and the seating outside which is where most of the guest seat is breathtaking with the fresh breeze…Superbe.
Service : A1! We had amazing service from Marco. He was super attentive to everything we did! If we had half our glass filled,he would direct the waitress to come refill our glasses. They sat us down very quickly let us pick which table we wanted. It’s a beautiful place and we enjoyed our time spent coming here on a romantic dinner date
The food: was absolutely extraordinarily perfect just wished there was more on the plate.
We had a nice red wine paired with Lamb my favourite was the : roasted cauliflower. It was so delicious. I decided without hesitation to order a second order. I loved the spinach gazpacho and feta mousse with the roasted Cauli. It paired beautifully together. It was cooked to perfection shoutout to the chef juste delicious wow
Then we had the chineese eggplant. It was delicious also paired with some gazpacho spinach ricotta mousse unfortunately it was not enough we wished there was more we devoured the dish in 2 minutes.
We shared the lamb chops dish extremely tender fall off the bone and very well seasoned with lots of flavour the cook was perfection again!
We also had some duck prosciutto it was amazing but again portions were limited wish it was thicker cuts of the amazing prosciutto and the lamb chops were minute as well. But the cook is/was: Perfection ! Every single bite we took kept us wanting more and more it was irresistible. The plates were all cleaned up in minutes!
For dessert, we had coffee to settle all what we devoured down .. maybe we will try the desserts on our next trip definitely count us in! we will be back here for sure ! 10000%...
Read moreMy first time EVER writing a review. I am tired and all I want is to go to sleep, unfortunately my mind will not rest without expressing what I’m thinking. I tried this restaurant today, and unfortunately found it to be horrible! Extremely overpriced and the food wasn’t even great quality. To begin, the service was terrible except for our amazing waitress who was a great! The bad experience with service came from the top with the management. It started with horrific hell type heat (and hey understandable everything that’s going on with Covid and restaurants being forced to serve outdoors) but this restaurant had what seamed to be 4 VIP tables thad had fans with plenty of ventilation and the rest of the guests had to suffer unbearable heat! It was extremely unpleasant!! The manager was aware and did nothing to try to make our night a bit more enjoyable! In fact it seems that he wanted to make the night a horrific one, since after a couple of hiccups along the night when the bill came it came for $300 for a dinner of 2!!!! Now, let me just say, that I have eaten in EVERY EXPENSIVE restaurant in Miami, and the quality of the food at this place doesn’t EVEN COME CLOSE to a great quality restaurant! When we confronted the manager about the insane and ridiculous $300 bill, he starts getting “offended” and goes as far as to insult me and say that I’m “used to eating at Mc’Donalds or something?” I chose to not even argue with his stupidity and stood strong on my stance that if the food had been great quality food I would have happily paid the tab, but it simply wasn’t! After lots of uncomfortable back and forth, he offered “a discount” that I still found expensive for the quality of the food we ate! If you are one to go off reviews, please, take my experience as warning to avoid this restaurant! Plenty of AMAZING restaurants in Miami that are great and with amazing quality food at a much more reasonable price! Even Zuma would have been cheaper than this place! Let me know if you would like some real good restaurant...
Read moreUpdate (2/25): The business owner replied to my original review below doubling down on his accusation that I planted a bug on my plate, which is quite remarkable.
I kindly encourage him to look at the picture I posted, which was taken before the meal by a food blogger I was dining with, where you can clearly see the bug there directly after being served.
I also encourage him to consider the possibility that it was difficult to discern a green stinkbug amidst a sea of similarly colored fennel in a dimly lit setting, and that it was not until later in my meal when the large legs and shell of the bug contrast against the white plate that I was able to notice that there had been a bug marinating in my meal the entire time.
Original Review (2/25): Food was generally OK, and ambience was nice, but frankly was stunned at how inconsiderate and disrespectful management was, not to mention bugs in my food.
On one of the last bites of my meal I found a very large bug - pointed it out to the waitress (who was very nice), who then showed the manager. The manager said she personally inspected the meal beforehand and that I was lying, and went so far as to actually accuse me of planting the bug.
One of the individuals I was with had happened to take a picture of the meal beforehand and sure enough if you zoom in (pictures attached), there it is - a large, rather healthy looking green stinkbug, legs sticking out, resting alongside the fennel after likely enjoying its last meal minutes ago on my plate in the kitchen.
Had the manager simply apologized I would’ve moved on and not thought much of it, but the fact she and her co-manager were not conciliatory, questioned my integrity, and only took $26 off a $400+ meal assures I will never be coming back, and will be sure to tell everyone I know in Miami the same.
In the meantime I’ll look for more bugs to bring to restaurants, because apparently...
