Rosetta Bakery Brickell On may 8th, my friend I visited Rosetta lovers, and we had a horrible experience. While we were in line talking a male member of the kitchen staff rudely commanded her to put on her mask. She duly complied and we proceed to order. While waiting for our order my friend briefly took her mask of, and the male member of the kitchen staff then proceed to yell at her in front of everybody, from the kitchen, to put on her mask. This is no way to treat customers. There was a bit of a wait for our order, so I asked for the attention of this person, and communicated to him the situation about order, and also to let him know that his behavior was unacceptable. He proceed to yell at me, and would not acknowledge his rude behavior. We are daily customers of this bakery, and this is not how you treat any human being. This is unacceptable! I agree that masks need to be worn, but there are decent ways to communicate that. I have been a customer of this great bakery for over 1 year, and never in my life has someone treated me or a friend like this. And now to yell to a young woman in front of everyone is humiliating. We and all customers deserve a basic level of human respect. I for one, will not be coming back to this otherwise...
Read moreSaturday, raining day, and an elderly man walked into this bakery. He bought a cup of American coffee (or perhaps they gifted to him, I’m not sure). The man tried to put the coffee in a plastic container but he spilled on the table and floor. Immediately he went out by himself and decided to sit in one of the tables outside. A young worker from the bakery came out and told him he could not sit there. Is this is how human kind has become? So insensitive and with so much lack of compassion? I felt a nock in my throat and didn’t know what to do, when I heard the cyclist that just arrived in the scene spoke that this wasn’t right, and the young worker said he was just following orders.
Wow, Rosetta Bakery, these are not the high standards I always have known from you and I’m dare to say this was not the legacy of the nana behind this great ideal Italian bakery.
Please, let us make the world a better place, we already have enough sadness and hate. We can do better than this.
The only good from today was the mini frittata I ate, other than that, the attitude of the bakery tasted awful by showing lack...
Read moreI had a prosciutto sandwich in a turmeric roll that was really good. My oatmeal latte was great too. For that reason and because the staff is very friendly and professional I think they earned five stars. However, there is room for improvement, and I hope the owners and managers will take my criticism in a constructive way. The place is very small and sometimes there’s no other option but to take a seat outside, and not all the tables have umbrellas and eating under the sun in Miami could be real torture. Also, it seems they don't often supervise and clean up that space outdoor; it was kind of dirty and messy. And what if it seems to me a total nonsense is that they do not accept cash payments. My first time there I had left my wallet and phone at home but while I was walking around I stopped by, and I only had a $20 bill in my pocket. Believe it or not, I couldn't buy an espresso! I've been to “cash only” places but nowhere in the world have I seen before a place where customers with cash are not welcome. I hope they...
