Dunkin' — Restaurant in Michigan City

I tried their breakfast for the first time this week in Florida and it was amazing. Came back to Indiana just yesterday after my vacation was over. Was at a baby shower and ended up winning a $10 gift card for this place. I thought I’ll get donuts for my kids I RARELY get them just sugar for breakfast. I ended up ordering food for my parents as well. Get to the restaurant and the lobby is closed (I only wanted to go in and see what donuts they had). Long line for the drive thru which I’m ok with. I get up to the speaker tried to order a dozen donuts I’ve never ordered from here before so I don’t know what certain things mean it was already hard to understand the guy talking I heard him say mixed I said mixed then asked if I got to pick the donuts and he was so rude about it and said “you ordered mixed that’s assorted donuts” I said to him “I’ve never ordered from here before I didn’t know” he definitely could of been a little less rude about it and explained I had to order it this way to be able to pick the donuts I wanted. After that the whole rest of the order with the hot food he had such an attitude. I was suppose to order my family drinks as well but I didn’t because I was annoyed with his attitude. I get up the window he just sticks his hand out the window I had him the gift card and then the cash puts his hand out the window so fast to hand me my change. Then the box of donuts I’m trying to be nice and say thank you. I get the hot food and the women damn near throws the bags at me. Get home half of one of the sandwiches had no bread the egg and meat was just hanging there. The hash browns were so soggy they literally stuck to the bag you couldn’t even pull all the potatoes off the side of the bag. Food tasted nothing like what I just had earlier in the week. I know different states it’s not going to be the same but this was not even close and they should be at least close for being the same restaurant. The sausage tasted like plastic the bread for the sandwiches were hard to bit into and rip off to the point no one ate the sandwiches we just ate the donuts which were actually good. I will not be coming back to this one. I will drive to another town if I ever feel like eating sugar for breakfast again hopefully I’ll have...

This is the worst DD location in existence. We stopped there for iced coffee and 2 items we asked for that were on the menu were discontinued. We picked something else which was okay. The problem is the woman who took our order and was being rude because I guess we should know what’s available and what isn’t. We weren’t rude that they had things on the menu that weren’t available, we found something else to order. After we asked for the second item, the lady said “Oh my God”. This person is clearly disgruntled and should not be taking orders or even dealing with people. It wasn’t our fault your menu isn’t right. How are we to know if it’s still advertised. This location has been awful for years and nothing will ever make it better. I’ve seen employees scream at each other, lock one of my employees in their store because they were fighting and scream at customers. The location on Michigan Boulevard is always top notch. It may be out of the way but if you want friendly service and your order made correctly it’s worth the drive to go to that location instead...

I’m sorry to say this! But if you can’t even pretend to like people or maybe your Job. Then maybe working behind a counter where you deal with people every day all day. Is not the Job for you! The Customer service from this one individual was just unattractive. I’m a truck driver I look forward to be able to stop at a D&D Every now & then while I’m working, & getting myself a decent cup of coffee. Instead of my everyday “Truck Stop Coffee”! But I would rather take that Truck stop Coffee any day over a employee with a attitude towards the Customer (for not Customer did) I’m not one of them “ Customer is always right” kinda person, But I also don’t wanna have an attitude given towards me when I’m spending my money at your place.
