Sevens Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Milpitas

Had a family birthday breakfast celebration at this restaurant. Three people were celebrating their birthdays. Our reservation was at 10 because the online menu said breakfast was served until noon. Breakfast ends at 11 during the weekday. After we sat down the one server they had let us know breakfast and the buffet ends at 10:30. We mentioned the time from the online menu and he said no 10:30. We then asked if the egg bar would be available for omelets and he said he would get a cook to come out. The cook comes out and has a hard time making basic omelets and tells the server someone else needs to come do this because I can't handle it. 10:45 comes around and the server mentioned he got us an extra 15 minutes at the buffet a buser comes from the back and takes all the serving utensils from the buffet and removes the plates from the counters. The staff comes from the back and serves themselves the rest of the food and starts the egg bar and makes their selves more eggs while we were told that it is closed now. The service was horrible and the food was decent. Something really needs to be done about their business hours posted opposed to what the workers are...

Not a great night at the Sevens Bar & Grill. Came here to meet a friend, the location is good in the ground floor of the Crowne Plaza.

It took around 10-15 minute intervals to get the attention of the waitress at any point. Usually this also involved waving her down (she came over 2x in the 1 hr of happy hour we had left). The happy hour menu is decent we had the calamari which was pretty good and the tacos were mediocre.

Later on we were joined by 1 more who ordered a Cuban sandwich. The Cuban sandwich took 35 minutes to come to the table. Then after getting the bill there were two errors, we were charged for two beers we didn't drink and the beers did not come up at the right pricing.

Now in their defense it was extremely busy due to the NBA finals but still inexcusable. Only bright side is the 15% food check in discount but needless to say I...

As someone who frequents the restaurant, I can say that you get what you pay for.

The food is a little over priced, but most of the entrees and appetizers taste really well. Depending on the cooks in the back, the quality can vary night to night.

The drink selection is similar to the food, overpriced but tasty. Quality varies bartender to bartender but generally its a good drink.

Service varies from day to day and time of day as well. Every time I have come through it has been acceptable to great.

Crowne Plaza is a hotel that caters to business men and women from around the world and thats why the price of food is raised, since it usually gets put on a company card.
