Watch out if you're a a delivery driver they're going to force you to come inside now... you guys have some nerve at the Starbucks to tell us that we have to come in just as a reminder to you guys there's a reason we're doing this gig work because we get to make our own rules we get to be in charge we get to be our own boss and I've been doing this gig for 13 years since the apps launched and for someone to tell me that I got to change what I'm doing that is out of line I'm standing in place of the customer that's what we're doing when we're all doing these delivery driver jobs so what that means is we get the same equal amount of treatment so if customer is in the Drive-Thru and you're going to serve them well guess what if I'm in the Drive-Thru then you need to serve me too another reason to this is safety there have been incidences where Dashers and Uber drivers get out of their car people watch them and mess with them and sometimes follow them we have every right to stay in the vehicle and be safe there are also dashers and uber drivers with walking disablilties I know a few personally and yes everyone has to bring the food or drinks to them in their car and they get to use the drive-thru plenty... you guys are not respecting our boundary our job so this store needs to let us do our jobs our way if I wanted restrictive rules I would work for your company but that's not the case also to note because I'm in the place of the customer I've already caught restaurants and companies violating doordash policies where they'll make our order as soon as we walk in that's not how it works the moment you guys get the order on your screen you make it because it's supposed to be ready for pick up by the time a Dasher or Uber driver walks in most times were stuck waiting around while everyone else gets served again that is not how it works and when I came inside to confront this situation the girl gave the lamest most prude answer it's basically the fact that you guys can't keep up and you know what it's none of our problem that you guys need to hire more people this is ridiculous across every company hire people you guys have a multi-billionaire company there is no longer an excuse for it it was one thing with covid but you can't say people don't want to work they just don't want to work for peanuts and be treated wrong with no benefits or full-time I know because I walked away from being a manager for several big companies so I know what the hell I'm talking about worked for lovers Hot Topic Spencer's Nintendo Microsoft oh yeah the list goes on and you know what they're all doing that same excuse and it's not worth people's effort this billionaire executives should come down and check this shit show out, there is no excuse you guys again have the money and you can't hire some extra staff members get with it. so don't be surprised when all of us start to use the drive-thru again you have no Authority to overstep our job and if this continues to happen I'm going to report your store to doordash and uber and grub hub all of them that way this location gets kicked off of delivery service apps. I've personally already caught fake Dashers people that have fake accounts and I have helped Safeway and Fred Meyer ban those people so don't mess with the gig workers just don't. I've seen this location also mess up multiple times cause not enough people one time y'all handed me one of the two orders and I went all the way out to the country and delivered it and then the lady happened to notice that with me because there are no stickers or anything on the bag she literally had to show me her order on her phone and then I had to run all the way back like a 13 to 20 minute drive all the way back to Monroe just for the other half of the order and I wasn't getting paid for that that right there is where yes the gig work should be compensating for it we're still trying to get a real hourly here with it like other nations have legally but in all honesty I think Starbucks should have covered the extra pay because their employee...
Read moreYou know, I honestly hate to give them such a score like that, but if it weren't for the people being nice it would have been no stars at all. I was an employee with starbucks for years, and it's a little dissapointing that there is almost absolutely no customer connection being made. I have been coming to this store 5 days a week for almost a year, and have only recently had a conversation with a gentleman in the drive thru after I had been sitting in line for almost 20 minutes. I understand, having to make what you are doing a priority and being busy, but starbucks is known for their coffee and friendly baristas. All that is something I can put aside, but I cannot put aside how long I'm sitting in that drive thru, or the wait on the inside, which is just as bad. This store does get a lot of business, which is obvious, but the wait is absolutely excessive. I have on many occasions pulled out and left because it was too much of a wait, and took my business to a different location. Read moreI come to this Starbucks location almost on a daily basis. The baristas are usually really friendly but today 10/5/21 around 4:30pm when I placed my order at the drivethru I asked the male order taker if they had pumpkin loaf and he said no, so I asked if they had the pumpkin cream cheese muffin and he said yes, my exact words were “I’ll have that warmed please”. He gave me the total and I went ahead. When I got to the window it was a tall male, didn’t get his name but I don’t think he’s been there long, he handed me my drink and then handed me my muffin. I felt it and sure enough it was not warm. I said this was supposed to be heated up. He takes it from me and with a condescending voice said “next time specify”! I said I DID. That was just so rude for him to say that to me and maybe he should listen better and not blame the customer. It’s really not a big deal but he did take it back after I already handled the bag and heated it up and gave it back. I’m pretty sure he was not supposed to do that especially during a pandemic. I will not go there again if he is still working there. Love all the other people...
