I would avoid going there until they get their crap figured out. I've been a few times since they opened and don't plan on returning. Every time I've ordered there's been something wrong with it, I get it they're new, but it's annoying.
My most recent experience is why I won't be going back, I placed an order on the app for carryout but when I went to pick it up only the drive-thru was open. For context, the app lets you pick carryout, dine in, or drive-thru, and each one has a separate "open" next to it, so they have not set it up properly so that the dine in and carryout options say closed. I live across the street with no car, so I stood in the drive thru for 10 minutes in the rain to get my order. Multiple employees walked around out back and didn't say anything, and the guy at the window didn't seem to care until someone else inside said I couldn't have the food that I paid for because I didn't have a car. Well then set up your app right! If it's policy then why does only one person there know about it? It felt more like discrimination than for safety reasons, considering employees are wandering around out back by themselves and their entire drive-thru/parking lot setup is a hazard for pedestrians, frankly I felt safer walking through the drive thru at night than I do walking in during the day, every time I walk by during the day they have a cop outside making sure no one gets run over because of how ridiculous...
Read moreSo excited to have them in Monroe!! Expect a little wait as they work through the kinks and the fellow Monrovians that can't drive. Everyone already double parked in the parking lot 𫣠We all knew this parking lot was going to be a nightmare anyways for the volume of traffic.
The drive thru double wraps sometimes where you have to leave obvious space for cars to exit the drive thru in between cars waiting for the drive thru. If you have been to Darci's you know what I'm talking about. They had the first entrance blocked off from HWY 2 and redirecting traffic to the Fred Meyer side entrance instead to elevate HWY backups.
Staff here was very pleasant and working diligently with the new crew they have! Lots of younger staff learning. Be patient, if you've worked fast food you know. Be nice to service people.
We were here Weds, technically day 2 of soft opening as they were closed Tuesday. I will say the drive thru in a Tahoe with some spacers was a little tight on the order swing and had some notable tire rash already on the curbs. If you have a bro truck, dually, or rims your husband cares about I suggest using the lobby instead! They have 2 mobile kiosks you can use to order or walk up counter as well!
Overall great experience! Get your...
Read moreI was really excited to have Wendys in Monroe until tonight. I ordered via the mobile app and based on the receipt on my bag my order was done around 8:23, which is when I arrived to the store to find out the lobby was closed and there was a 45 minute line for the drive thru. Since I had already paid for my food, I went ahead and got in the drive-thru line which was wrapped all the way around the building and into the Fred Meyer parking lot. After 45 minutes of waiting in line I got to the window and was handed my food which by that time was cold. The fries were gross, burgers and chicken nuggets were cold. My daughter's Burger wasn't even the right burger and had onions, tomato, lettuce and mustard on it. None of which she will eat so I had to go buy her a different dinner elsewhere. Basically the entire order was inedible and a waste of my time and money. This establishment better figure out how to serve hot food and move their customers through or they will not last long. I for one will not be back for a very long...
