Friday evening between 445p - 630p.... Soooo this was my albacore and yellowtail sashimi order........ presentation is really important in dining. No vinaigrette sauce when its needed, sloppy pieces. For the price they should do better. Fish was buttery, with nice mild flavor. Same for the spicy tuna miguel style roll. looks like someone barfed on my plate but was pretty tasty with the pickled onions. 10 stater bros. Size pieces to make it look like more. When really they should be 6 - 8 size pieces. Cilantro would have been a nice touch with the onions for color or julienne carrot. Miso soup was delicious! Alondra was my server. Very nice and attentive. Main reason why I left a tip. Very small, could use some TLC on the interior decor to make it a little nicer and cozy. Place is clean bathroom was pretty okay as well. Has a decent amount of menu options. I might return b/c the fish was fresh, buttery, mild tasting but I would definitely weigh my other options first. So far, so good! no stomache upset and it's 1140pm. If they step up there game a little bit w/ decor presentation get there flavors on point, and something other then the car show on one TV, they could be a strong contender in the sushi game.

Came here today for lunch. This place is highly recommended and the food definitely didn't disappoint. We started off with the stuffed jalapeno and ended up getting the fire rule the honey roll and a few of the rolls all of which were very good. It was so good that I was actually pleasantly surprised. Service overall was pretty good but but didn't get offered another drink outside of the one I got initially when we sat down. Then as we're ready to leave to come back and asked to refill on which I say yes. The waitress comes back with a half-filled soda which is strange and I've never seen before. If you're going to offer to refill it then do it otherwise just give me the check so I can get out of there. Overall this place is pretty good and I'll probably be back.

The ratings gave me high hopes but I regret going. The service was pretty bad but that’s kinda normal right now. They were lucky to have any employees right now. They microwave their sake. A basic no no in the sushi world. Their rolls have massive amounts of rice and have too much sauce. See attached pic. It made it a gooey ball with no texture. Atmosphere was similar to the DMV with a flat screen. All the windows covered, bright overhead lights and tile floor. I however did not get sick as others reported and it looked to be clean. $51 with tip for two rolls and a large beer. Won’t be back.

My fiancé and I just ordered to-go from here yesterday and I have to say we were blown away. I don’t even know where to start but I’ll mention first that our food was HOT, like temperature hot, which is like, never a thing with sushi to-go. Every sushi place we’ve gotten cooked tempura has always been warm, maybe, but mostly cold.

Anyway, we got the Hot Night Roll and Dragon Roll which were freaking perfect together as the Hot Night Roll was nice and hot, and the dragon roll was cool, so eating one after another was a nice combination. The flavors were super rich and has left me actually wanting sushi again. Normally it’s an occasional craving but this place got me hooked.

On top of that, I was absolutely shocked to call and be told that it would only take 10-15 minutes for the order to be ready. It felt too good to be true but the order was ready in within 10 minutes!! On top of that there were customers dining in, calling in, and walking in as I arrived so I’m super impressed at how they’re managing to get top quality food out in great time.

The staff was professional, quick and polite. If you’re looking for a great sushi place to go in Moreno Valley, THIS IS IT.

Looking forward to my next visit 🤤

Update: My wife and I have eaten here countless times now and I’m constantly given a fantastic experience.

I came on a Tuesday night after the gym. They had 15 minutes to close (which I was not aware of) and they still took my order. At first the waitress said they couldn’t make one of my rolls due to it needing to be prepared in the kitchen which was already closing up, but the cook overheard and said it was okay.

Honestly, they had no obligation to do so and they made my order anyway. Again, I cannot express how amazing this place is. The staff here is amazing and makes me feel very welcomed. Keep...

I went here for the first time with my friend recently. She got sushi and I got the chicken katsu with a side of broccoli. When our food came out, I took a bite out of my chicken. The texture was decent, but there was absolutely no flavor. It was so bad that I wouldn’t be able to tell it was chicken if I closed my eyes. I let my friend try a small piece and she agreed. It just tasted like some form of matter in my mouth. There was not even a hint of seasoning. ): We called the server over and politely told her that I didn’t like the food. I didn’t ask for it to be comped, but I just wanted it to be fixed or swapped. They said they couldn’t do anything about it even though I took only 2 bites of it. Fine, whatever. When the check comes, I’m charged full price for the chicken and an extra $5.50 for the tiny side of broccoli. It was so bad that I didn’t even try to finish it or take my nearly full plate of food to-go. I might as well have been eating clay. My friend said that the sushi was on par with the Stater Bros sushi, but not too bad.

I would give 3 stars because I understand it’s a small business, but the service wasn’t even good. The server wasn’t attentive at all. She didn’t come by to check on us at all until we flagged her down. We paid and went somewhere else afterwards. Would I come...
