I have been coming to eat mama’s food since I was six years old throughout all of her locations! I’m so so so so so so so happy that she opened up again and hopefully this new location will be here to stay 😀
Honestly, nobody makes Thai food the way that she does!
They are able to make authentic food and still accommodate for vegan and vegetarian diets!!!!
During my most recent visit (first time to this location), I had some different dietary restrictions (no onion and garlic) and Donald went out of his way to go through the menu with me and see what I can and can’t eat and even doubled checked ingredients.
Disclaimer: they fry the veggie rolls and I’m assuming the tofu in the same oil as meats, so just avoid the fried veggie rolls and get non-fried tofu if you’re not okay with that.
My dad usually doesn’t like Thai bc of the fish sauce/oyster sauce but when we come to Mama’s, he eats happily and leaves with a full stomach and happy tastebuds.
Eating here makes you feel like you’re acting at a relatives house. Mama is always smiling and so warm and inviting, as are Donald and Jenny!
After eating here, every other Thai place just doesn’t make the cut — there have been days that I’ve literally DREAMED about their red curry, Thai pasta, drunken noodles, and Thai Basil fried rice.
This place is truly a hidden gem 💎
This is a review coming from an Hindu and Indian — only stating this to help promote eating at Mamas for other people of my same faith and background who might be worried about being able to eat out at Thai restaurants.

Read moreThis is my second time ordering here. About two weeks ago I ordered Thai coffee, mango sticky rice, and some noodle dish recommend (at my request) from the cashier. I wasn’t a fan of the Thai coffee but Im very particular about my Thai drinks, noodle dish was good but wouldn’t get it again. The mango sticky rice was phenomenal which is why I drove from Hampton to Morrow again today to order. Welp, maybe I had the first timer special because when I I got home my mangos were brown, there was almost half the rice as the first time I ordered, and for some reason the coconut cream was really watery and of course grey/brown. It actually took me less time to drive home this time than last so I doubt the issue is the travel time. I think I just got a shitty order, maybe because it was a to go order. I requested my combo noodle plate to be sweet, the male cashier said it comes with a slightly sweet soy sauce and he’ll have them put extra (I only asked for sweet because the menu literally says to request sweet or not sweet, he looked as if my request made no sense but he was truly nice about it, so I didn’t mention the menu). WELP there is NO SAUCE just dry noodles as if they were sitting then mixed with veggies and meat. Suuuuch a waste of money, again I think I was given a shitty order because two weeks ago was up to par not...
Read moreI usually pick up takeout but I have dined in twice. Service has always been excellent with friendly and attentive staff and the food is excellent overall. I've gotten hooked on the Red curry with chicken. Its one of the best I've found in Atlanta area. I did get an appetizer sampler once that wasn't anything special but the entrès have always been very fresh and flavorful and portions are good. The chicken is tender and juicy and the shrimp are extremely fresh. The various curry (red, yellow and green) have delicious broth and just right spice. Prices are good too. I generally spend $23 per person with tip but you could get a great meal for as little as $14. Its rarely busy I think because its in a bad spot with very little thru traffic and you cant see it from the main road. I hope word of mouth spreads and business improves. They have all the ingredients for success except exposure. To put it into perspective, I've picked up takeout from them the last 4 nights except last night because they were already closed when I called. Im just waiting for dinner to roll around so I can go tonight! The red curry with...
