Smoothie King — Restaurant in Morrow

I went here for the first time and it was very good!! I've always wanted to try smoothie king for their smoothie bowl (I'm a big fan of smoothie bowls) and I ended up going for the PB Swizzle, they allowed me to swap out fruits so I swapped out blueberries for mangoes. It was VERY delicious and everything was so fresh and cold. They even provide a bag that is designed to hold the bowl and they include their own spoon that is sturdy. Drove all the way home in the heat and the bowl was still cold and not melted!! The ingredients tasted "rich" and I loved the acai base, it was so smooth and the texture was lovely. It is so much better than other places I've been to. I definitely recommend if you like smoothie bowls, I will definitely come back again to try other bowls. Maybe next time I will get the smoothies as well.

One of the workers was actually someone I used to go to high school with and he was sweet and spoke to me in my language :)

A little warning though, the place seems like it's busy very often. I saw regular folks to gym goers at this location so do be aware this place most likely is busy often and we did have to wait a little but it wasn't extremely bad. I've been buying the same smoothies from here for about a year. I like what I like So I get it every time. Without pineapple. Last month the entire crew was replaced with a mostly Latino group that although we're very nice, when I told then that my order was wrong and I could taste the pineapple, he started explaining why it tasted that way. because of juice that they sometimes add. Sounded like b.s. but still I asked how to avoid this in the future and he said to ask for no juices in my smoothie. So I did that today. It tastes exactly as it did the last time. Literally no change. I kind of figured his response was a ' here's why I'm not wrong' response but still I hoped it would help him to remember me next time. It did not, and 11$ for a smoothie is too much to be told that I'm wrong about what I've been tasting for a year. There is a smoothie planet a mile from this store. I usually enjoy Smoothie King, but this recent visit was incredibly disappointing. I was greeted a sweet young lady name Ray who was very helpful. The service was slow, and the other staff seemed uninterested in helping customers. I waited over 15 minutes for a single smoothie, even though there were only a couple of people ahead of me. When I asked for an update, the employee was dismissive and borderline rude.

To make matters worse, Alissa had 2 guys to visit her whom got their smoothies upon arrival. The smoothie I received was poorly made—watery, bland, and not the quality I expect from this brand. I understand that mistakes can happen, but the lack of professionalism and care from the team made the whole experience frustrating.

I hope this location improves its customer service and product quality because this visit left a bad impression. Until then, I’ll be taking my...
