Are you even a foodie if you don’t celebrate National Ice Cream Day?

This year, we chose Cold Stone Creamery to celebrate this day, and there’s no regret. We ordered online for in store pickup, and arrived right before closing. There was a huge line inside the store waiting to be served. There was another line for pick up which wasn’t that long. As customers were piling in the store to get on line to order, one of the employee had to ask them to step outside the store, as they reached the maximum capacity inside the store. I’m glad I ordered online to avoid the crowd. Also use the promo code “ICECREAM” to get the BOGO offer (valid till 07/23/20).

We ordered the Berry Berry Beery Good and the Germanchökolätekäke in a waffle cone. The ice creams were in a cup, and the cones were separate. We scooped it in the cone.

As a chocolate lover, the Germanchökolätekäke surprised us, but the mixed-in toasted coconut was super-tasty, and made for an epic frozen version of a German chocolate cake. Loved the addition of pecans, as well.

The Berry Berry Beery Good, was VERY good! It was filled with strawberry, blueberry, and raspberry. But strawberries came through the strongest, and that's a very good thing. We liked how light it was, and not too sweet. Just perfect!

Staff have definitely turned over here. They are more interested in flirting than working. My Love it size only had as much ice cream as a Like it. Plus no masks. We're still in the middle of a pandemic. Lastly and most Disappointing is they no longer understand what it means when you say "my child has food allergies, please pull from a new container in the back." It's unfortunate as this was our goto location.

OLD REVIEW PRIOR TO THE CHANGE IN STAFF: We frequent Cold Stone as it's one of the few sweet treats my daughter can enjoy. I wrote my original review below two years ago. Still today I can't say enough. Before I had a chance to even mention my daughters food allergies today, the person helping us said smiling "we have a food allergy here right." She even remembered she could have chocolate. Seriously how much better can you get than that!?!? She deserves a raise. I've never had better service anywhere.

They certainly understand food allergies and the meaning of cross contamination. Each time we've visited all I have to say is "my daughter has food allergies" and they are all over it! They ALWAYS pull from a new carton of chocolate ice cream and mix it in a separate clean pan with clean tools to prevent ANY cross contamination. Thank you Coldstone my little one feels super safe eating ice cream from here...and...

We came in to grab ice cream after the Utes game. I understand they were busy but we ordered a gotta have it. She didn’t get enough ice cream and instead of getting more she mixed the small amount she had, put it in the cup, and got 2/3 more of plain ice cream and stuck it on top and handed it to us and walked away. I asked the girl who checked us out if they could please mix it and add more mix ins as 2/3 the ice cream was plain. She seemed annoyed and asked if she could just sprinkle some on top. I said no, we came here because of the mix ins can you please mix it. She was very annoyed and went over to the other girl and speaking loud enough we could hear at the register, meaning the entire line could hear it, made poor comments about us requesting it be redone as all of the girls working stopped to stare at us. Extremely unprofessional when all I was asking was for them to deliver the product and we were paying for and not do a poor job at it. My husband loudly stated how unprofessional it was of them to be talking poorly about customers on the working line and they all just stared and uttered zero...
